@Ahhh Girl always coming in clutch with a picture of the many cool Beatley things she sees in her daily life.
On a maybe not-so-related note, I saw a license plate about a month ago that said “Pooh”, and it made me really happy because I imagine they are big fans of Winnie the Pooh like myself.

‘Winnie-the-Pooh’ is wonderful. I have a painting of him that i really like and a complete book that am delighted to own. I bought it new for what seemed like silly money years ago (turns out it was about £30!!).
I’d really like to buy the complete Calvin and Hobbes but that is incredible silly money.
Beatle moment. One of the rounds of ‘Pointless’ today was famous guitarists and George was one of the 15 featured. One contestant had no idea of any of those left, thought it could be a Beatle, and so opted for Ringo as a 1 in 4 guess. George scored 52 points (ie 52 people out of 100 knew it was George).

A LOT happened when I was away:
– Whilst on a bottle drive, I ringed someone’s doorbell, and it was identical to the one from the beginning of Let ‘Em In
– During one of the meals on the ship, I overheard one of the other students singing Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
– Also on the bottle drive, I noticed a lady with a super cool Beatles sweater. It featured the photo of them in front of the American flag, woven right into the material.
Anddddd also about 10 more things that I can’t remember due to the sheer amount of Beatley Moments being forced into my memory in such a short period of time.

I have a cool thing to show you from an older edition of my economics book that I found in the library.
(My phone refuses to send me the images so I’ll type it out for you all)
CONSUMER SURPLUS
Willingness to Pay
Imagine that you own a mint-condition recording of the Rolling Stones’ first album. Because you are not a Stones fan, you decide to sell it. One way to do so is to hold an auction.
Four Stones fans show up for you auction; John, Paul, George and Ringo. Each of them would like to own the album, but there is a limit to the amount that each is willing to pay for it. John is willing to pay €100 for the album, Paul €80, George €70 and Ringo €50. Each buyer’s maximum is called his willingness to pay and it measures how much that buyer values the good.
And on it goes for 4 pages with some graphs, spoiler alert: John ends up buying the album for €80.
It’s pretty cool, economics through The Beatles.
Unfortunately in my newer edition the Stones album is replaced with a guitar and The Fabs are replaced with…..Oasis

^^Guitar = good. Oasis = meh :/
In a revised text, they should hold a guitar auction and George should win!
Anyway, I recently stumbled upon the official Muse forum and one user had a photo of George at Shea Stadium in ’65 (all this I knew at a glance ) as their avatar.
And I thought I was the only Beatlemaniac who liked Muse!

Anywho, yesterday I was solving a problem in math class that involved cutting a pipe into pieces. I could have sworn that it said something about Pipes Of Peace .

Erm, I went to a bluegrass festival today and saw a chap wearing this
which made me grin as wide as the Missississississississippi* River.
I also saw some original artwork based on this photo:
It was very good! I’d have liked to have gotten a closer look, but didn’t want to lose my friends in the crowd.

Series 73 Episode 5 of ‘Just A Minute’ has a round where the subject is ‘Paperback Writer ‘ and so the Beatles come up. One challenge is when Will Self gives the year the song was released as 1968, Paul Merton buzzes for deviation saying it was 1965. The host Nicolas Parsons throws it to the audience to decide who is correct as he has no idea. If you want to know who wins the point you’ll have to listen to the episode.

Was in some interior store with my mom and the girl who worked there was just hanging up a canvas in the window. Of course from inside the shop we saw it the other way around. We only could see it had a Swedsh plane on it, because it said SAS and my mom loved that. When we walked out of the store we walked past the window and took a look at it and then my mom yelled ”HEY AREN’T THOSE THE BEATLES??!!” and I just said ”nah” but then I looked a bit better and recognized Paul. It was a picture of the Beatles landing in Sweden printed on a canvas! So we went back inside and asked what it cost, and the girl said ”oh that canvas that has the Eagles on it..ehh I mean the Beagles?”
Really.
The Eagles. THE BEAGLES?!!

Anyways, another Beatley Moment from yours truly:
Whilst watching a YouTube video of a video game let’s-play, one of the characters in the game said “I don’t care too much for money, cause money Can’t Buy Me Love .”
