On my way to work the filming site (also known as one of my classmates’ house) today, I saw a vanity plate that said LOVEMEDO. ‘Twas grand.
Also, one of the lads quoted Taxman , which I applauded most heartily…

I was skimming through a magazine and my eye catches a picture of Yoko Ono, the article that accompanied the photo included this excerpt:
The artist wants viewers to witness the apple’s decomposition, but when she first showed an apple at a London gallery in 1966, one guy couldn’t resist the temptation: John Lennon grabbed it and took a bite (this is how the two met).

Even though, if I’m recalling my Beatles history rightly, that’s factually erroneous (I do believe they actually met over the ‘Yes’ exhibit, or was it the one where you hammer an imaginary nail in?) Anyway, though I seem to be a bit rusty, I don’t think it was that particular exhibit.
Edit: After a consultation of the oracle, I have found it: ’twas the Yes one, where you climb up a ladder and you take up a magnifying glass and look at it and it doesn’t say ‘no’ or ‘sod you’, it says ‘Yes’. Noice an positive that is.

Just to make it clear, the “decomposing” apple (though John DID NOT take a bite out of it), the “Yes” canvas, and the “Hammer-a-nail-in” exhibits were ALL part of Yoko’s 1966 Unfinished Paintings show at the Indica.

From factual deduction I have deduced that you trying to prank people.
Evidence:
1. Videos don’t need passwords.
2. If it did need a password, how would you know the password if you didn’t make the video?
3. (That’s as far as my deducting went)

I was watching the news earlier and a story came on about how Beatles-related art was being displayed in a chapel somewhere. The people there were saying how grand and lovely the Fabs were. Made me smile, it did.

You know @Ahhh Girl is a hardcore Beatles Bibler when she connects two entirely different random posts.
Am I hardcore for recognizing it?
And did the mother in that scene really say “Elias, how?”. *snicker*

‘Twas reading a book today in class and a girl was trying to visit someone in an office. The lady at the front desk wasn’t going to let the girl in, and to try to convince the lady the girl said that the meeting was for personal reasons.
The lady at the front desk then said something along the lines of “Listen, this isn’t a lonely heart’s club.”
Then the song (you know which one) played in my head and I imagined the two, along with the security guard that was also there, in Sgt. Pepper costumes.

Watched the vigil outside St. George’s Hall in Liverpool to remember the 96 Liverpool fans who died at Hillsborough in 1989 earlier. It followed the unlawful killing through gross negligence verdict returned at the 2nd inquest yesterday.
The vigil opened with 96 youngsters from Liverpool and Everton’s youth academies placing 96 roses in memory of those who have finally received the justice they deserved.
As they laid the roses, The Beatles recording of In My Life rolled across the tens of thousands who packed the square.
It may well be the most moving circumstances I have ever heard it played it in, and the most apt.

@Ron Nasty , I heard a news item about that verdict on last night’s CBS Evening News during my drive home from work. Listening to a throng of half aguished/half celebratory Liverpool supporters singing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ in the background sent chills up my spine. I can’t imagine what you must have felt.
