I took a walk tonight and found myself in this psychic bookshop, and as I was looking around, I saw this book that had to do with people's experiences with 9/11. The thing was, of course, that these people were dead, and they were either remembering their last moments or looking at what was happening from the Great Beyond.
So, I'm thinking, “Yeah. OK.” and I flip open the book, and right there is the beginning page to Linda McCartney's account of what she felt about that day. I don't remember too much of it, because I wasn't taking much of it seriously, but she started off with this anecdote about how when she was first with Paul, it was weird for her to see him do things like leave socks on the floor. She went on to talk about how love makes you naked to each other, really open and vulnerable, and you learn things about each other that no one else will ever know. And I think her point was that maybe there needs to be more of that vulnerability between others in the world for it to begin to become better.
And so then I flip to the table of contents and see who else this psychic had channeled to get thoughts about September 11, and there he is: George Harrison . And George was mainly concerned about how people were trying to put one religion on top of the other, and the one thing he fixated on was a story about taking someone's parking space. He said that everything was connected to one another and so you might think that taking someone's parking spot is no big deal and the person will get over it, but in actuality, that person may not and get angry and take out the anger on someone else and so on. And I think his thing was about not having an ego, not thinking you're better than anyone else, or that your views have more weight compared to someone else's.
I'm sure John Lennon had tons to say about 9/11, but I didn't really bother reading it. I'm not a big believer in psychics. I'm interested so much as I am in what being a Libra means or the power of the post that generates a 9 or 17. 🙂 I mean, of course the lessons in the book are worth taking note, but I just found it kinda random that the psychic said she communicated with Linda and George. And the stories about dirty socks on the floor and parking spot stealers just made me smile.

That's really cool Star Wisher. Kind of makes me want to find that book and read it just for fun. Mainly because I don't believe in that kind of stuff to much.
But last night I was watching tv and a commercial came on for the new Charlie Brown movie coming out on DVD on Tuesday. The title was: Happiness is a Warm Blanket Charlie Brown, which of course had me cracking up and my dad staring at me like a lunatic. Now I kind of want to see it just because it has that title.

I put Beatles For Sale on before I left my lunch break. When I got home, I let myself in and it was silent. I walked in and “Baby's in Black” started playing.

Today in art, I was showing my project to a friend, and explaining that I'm doing a psychedelic background. His response? “The dentist spiked the coffee again, didn't he?”
I would have given him a high five at that point. Then I would have found an apple and given it to him. Then I would have dragged him over to the nearest computer, created a Beatles Bible account for him, and given him an apple.
That's how much I enjoy hearing Beatles-y things at school. 😀

That was an awesome answer Sun King !
I had a Beatley Moment today. I was in this course and I had lunch with the teacher. They had ritmoson on TV and a band started playing “I've just seen a face”, a coworker and I started singing, and I said to our teacher I was a huge Beatle fan, and I had seen Paul in a concert last year. Then, when we returned to the class, I was writing down something when she said “Hey Mith look!”.
She showed a Powerpoint presentation slideshow with some examples and one of them said “I played guitar with Paul McCartney “. My coworkers said “Yeah that one is for Mith”

In my friends English class they had a tripod for signs and messages and stuff like that. One day the sign said,”All we are saying, is give peas a chance” (get it? It’s on a triPOD, PEAS.) I guess it isn’t technically a beatley moment, but it was still awesome. A Lennony moment.

Today my dad asked what time is it. I said “The big hand is on the five” and he looked at me weird. I told him that when the teachers ask me that same question and I reply with “The big hand is on the…” they shake their heads and they Look At Me as if I've lost my mind. my exact words.

At my school we have to take a bunch of big mandatory tests every year, so this year to pump us up, we made signs with clever sayings about how we would pass them or how we were better than them, and put them on our lockers. I saw one on somebOdies locker that said,”The TAKS test is not music and I am the Beatles.” I don’t know who this person is, but I want to give them a high five. 🙂

Ok so I just remembered a Beatley Moment that happened in June of last year. I was at orientation for college and we had to attend a commencement ceremony type thing to welcome the freshmen class. So while we were waiting for the ceremony to start, the school band started playing Beatle instrumentals. I don't remember exactly what they played. I think Help ! or A Hard Days Night. Either way, I was in my seat getting really excited and singing along.
The things you remember while doing other unrelated things.

I'll bet. A couple of strange ones today. Well, one strange one and one sensible one. First, I'm in my library writing a speech I must give on Monday, and researching famous speeches for inspiration (not for plagiarism). Well, I started singing “I have a dream” to the tune of And I Love Her . Secondly, I was in History (the class I have to write the speech for) and I heard my teacher humming. The tune? Eleanor Rigby .
