Maybe you are influencing him.

Had a video open from youtube (i wasn’t on youtube at the time, it was embedded from there) and forgot it was running. Look back to the screen and there are clips from the ‘Penny Lane ‘ promo playing; turns it it was an advert for ‘Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison’ and it was setting the scene by mentioned the Beatles ‘Magical Mystery Tour ‘ which was number 1 in the album charts when the Johnny Cash album was recorded.

Also where I work there is an artwork of the Beatles on the wall going up the stairs. Always pleasing to see that.

I’m singing Imagine with my new voice teacher. She told me to bring back another Beatles song for the next time we meet. I’m very happy, but also irked. a-hard-days-night-paul-11

Is this a Beatley moment or an anti-Beatley moment? I was working upstairs in the stacks when I came across a biography of Charles Manson. I just had to take a break from my work and read the parts that mention The Beatles.

Don’t know if this constitutes a “Beatley Moment”, but I didn’t want to put in in Beatles News either since it doesn’t quite fit. Anyway, I just saw the most current cover of National Enquirer and it’s claiming that Paul has Alzheimer’s and forgets songs, doesn’t recognize Ringo. I was like WHAT? NO. And laughed my ass off.

^ Thanks for the warning. I wonder if I can avoid going anywhere the National Enquirer is on sale until the next issue comes out.

Late last week, my brother and his family came down to visit us for a few days. A couple of Beatley moments occurred on Friday.

While in Philadelphia for the day we visited the sites of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. In the gift shop, my sister-in-law pointed out a T-shirt that I just had to buy – George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Ben Franklin are crossing Abbey Road and the caption underneath says “There’s Gonna Be A Revolution “. I’ve seen similar shirts online, but none quite the same as this one.

Later that night, my brother and sister-in-law took us out to dinner for an early birthday celebration for my wife. I mentioned before we got to the restaurant, that I’ve never eaten there without hearing a Beatles song. It was brought up because my brother likes The Beatles almost as much as I. During dinner, we heard 1 John Lennon song (‘Instant Karma ‘) and 2 Beatles songs (‘She Loves You ‘ and ‘I Saw Her Standing There ‘).

There’s a magazine where I work that says on the cover, “Paul McCartney bedded Yoko Ono.” I’m pretty sure someone actually bought that from me too.

That’s funny because I recorded a program with Manson and it was only to watch the Helter Skelter part. I could care less about him. XD

I don’t dye it at all.

You know you don’t need your hair colored when the people at the salon tell you it looks good and you shouldn’t dye it. The could be making money off me if they suggested I get it colored.

Either that or they are lazy and cant be bothered. I’d suggest next time you suggest you want it dyed purple and see if they warn you not to.

I was in a cafe yesterday and went into the kitchen only to hear ‘Love Me Do ‘ (Ringo on drums) playing on a homemade compilation cd. Next up was ‘Reet Petite’ so i left; could have been in there for a while if it was more Beatles.

Beatles are following me about.

Went to a local burger joint and My Sweet Lord came on. I was so happy; I just sat there with this goofy grin pasted to my face through the whole first minute.  beatlemaniacs_02_gif
