Was in a cafe earlier which had the below cushion at one of the tables. A nice cafe it was too.….well did you sit at that table?
I only saw it when I was carrying my gorgeous 2 month old niece about when she was getting restless. Folk were already at that table when we got there as well.
The problem is as soon as you see the like of above your eye starts looking everywhere else to see if there is any more Beatles stuff (like when a Beatles song comes on and you then keep tuning back in to hear if another track is on). There wasn’t.

While tweaking client files earlier, I decided to listen to my Beatles Live playlist. The first song on the list is ‘All My Loving ‘ from the first Ed Sullivan Show appearance. I pulled up the playlist on my iPod and clicked “Play”. While the song was playing, I pulled up the files I needed to tweak and waited for the first one to pop up.
The two simultaneous actions described as follows is still making me smile:
iPod: “…and then while I’m away, I’ll write home every day, and I’ll send all my lovin’…
File popping up on computer screen: Andrew Loven

They’ve won a trip to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Suppose its a nice day out tho hopefully more of a special bonus price than the top one.

It’s probably Charlie Bucket’s chocolate factory now– remember, Charlie was named Willy Wonka’s successor fifty-two years ago. I expect they’d still call it Wonka’s though.

Willy ain’t dead yet. He’s like the guy in the Bible who lived 696 years old.

Charlie was a unbearable little git and would have had the factory bankrupt within a few years. Hopefully the oompa-loopa’s bumped him off when Willy was going senile (he wasn’t that far away in the book/movie) and took control of the factory, bringing back the name Willy Wonka.
I really wanted Uncle Joe and Charlie to be sliced and diced by the overhead fans. Ruins the film that they weren’t.

Having to put up with 5 of the most unpleasant, spoiled, ungrateful, unlikeable, charisma-dead pains ever collected together in one film? I’d have pushed them all in the chocolate river within seconds.

So today in 21st century skills, my teacher was playing music. The first song she played was Come Together . Being that one person that actually likes The Beatles in that class, I was lip synching along, tapping my feet, and at one point I think I started snapping my fingers. Suddenly, a kid asks:
“Who sings this?”
Me: “The Beatles…”
I think the teacher even enjoys the song. I’m pretty sure the next song that was playing was a David Bowie song, but I amn’t too sure

Two Beatley moments for the last two days!
First Beatley moment: Yesterday morning my local radio station played a parody to “Paperback Writer ” called “Powerball Winner.” Second Beatley moment: Playing the chords to a Beatle medley on the piano and all my friends gathering around me to sing along. 🙂

I HEARD THE WORD “BEATLE” IN A CONVERSATION AND THOUGHT I WAS IMAGINING THINGS BUT THEN I HEARD “I HAVE YELLOW SUBMARINE ON MY PHONE” AND STARTED FREAKING OUT TO MY THEM BECAUSE I WAS LISTENING TO THEM ON MY IPOD AT THAT MOMENT.
Sorry for all caps; just recreating how I felt at the moment.

Ooo, I’m going to have a Beatley moment tomorrow, and see a Beatles site I’ve never seen before.
A friend of mine, Ray, recently moved to West Malling. He was exploring area recently and rang me about seeing a blue plaque in the High Street by a shop about them filming there in 1967, wondering if I knew anything about it.
Of course, I did. It’s the shop Ringo is seen going into to buy tickets for him and Aunt Jessie to go on the MMT, sold to him by John. Filmed on 22 September 1967.
I’m going out to visit his new cottage tomorrow, and to have a look at the blue plaque, on what is now a kebab shop!

A couple weeks ago I played Beatles Trivial Pursuit at my Grandpa’s house. My Great Aunt is a huge fan too, but I still managed to beat her at it.
Oh and just yesterday I saw a numbered copy of The White Album with all the photos and the poster at my local record store. I would’ve bought it, but it was $75!

So, went out to see my friend’s new cottage in West Malling this morning, and stopped in West Malling High Street to see a kebab shop:
Unfortunately, the name of it doesn’t really show in the photo (I only had a couple of minutes or I would have tried for a shot where the sun wasn’t washing it out), but it has a Beatley name – Rain Grill. You have to think that’s Beatles inspired because “Rain ” is an unusual name for a kebab shop.
And then you get a look at the blue plaque on the wall by the door:
Back in 1967 this was the shop in which Ringo buys tickets for the MMT from John.
A Beatles site I hadn’t visited before.

A moment in “Sleepless in Seattle” which I watched again last night that I keep forgetting about. Kids listening to a record, turn to Tom Hanks who’s in the doorway, and the boy says “…if you play this backward it says Paul is dead”. And I laughed because I noticed that the record on the turntable had some kind of red label on it, not a Capitol or Apple label.

I remember that part. Thanks for bringing it up. Good catch about the label.
