In a store yesterday when i saw
The only place it says Beatles is in the notice on the back where it states very clearly its not official (see here). Apple do run a tight ship.
In my local store you can get a Beatles tin with a 244 page book and 4 vinyl coasters, all for £5. I’m not buying it.

I was listening to David Bowie’s “Heathen” yesterday and there’s a song called Afraid where he sings
But I put my face in tomorrow
I believe we’re not alone
I believe in Beatles
I believe my little soul has grown
so I guess he’s having the last word on John there.

On the way to the orthodontist’s the other day I spotted a shopfront that said ‘I.M. Walrus’ on it. No idea what it was or anything, just a nondescript medical-looking brick building, and I am wondering if I may have dreamt it, for it felt surreal.

I was watching an old Gilmore Girls (come on, don’t judge–you watch some weird stuff too). Rory was in Lane’s room and they were looking at CDs. Rory pulls one out and says “Yoko Ono?” Lane says, “hey, she was a totally under appreciated artist. And the Beatles would have broken up anyway.” Maybe this was more of an @Expert Textpert moment.

I was putting the Christmas ornaments up on my tree, and there were three Beatles ornaments for the tree I forgot I had.
They’re all in the front of the tree.

Found this on Youtube. McCartney’s giving a cooking lesson (and alludes to his wife Linda, just to date it).
Quite the entertainer even outside of music.

No idea where to put this so its going here.
The Beatles are included in the interactive BBC article “Why is popular culture one of Britain’s best exports?“.
Ringo’s medal is the only one non-clickable.

I’m waiting for the scrambled eggs video. LOL.
Poor Ringo. It should have been John’s medal that wasn’t clickable since he gave his back.

In this article from the Daily Mail, Have YOU achieved the same as the average 30-something? Take this quiz to determine whether you’re on the same path as your peers (and what you’ll need to achieve to play catch up)
If you match at least 15 of the below criteria, you are the average 30-year-old and, if not, you need to hit these targets to catch up with your peers.

14. Favourite Music: Queen, The Beatles, Take That

Yay Beatles!!

One of the categories in the ‘Pointless’ tv show final round was George Harrison Top 40 UK Singles (the other two categories was Bob Dyland and Roy Orbison Top 40 UK Singles). The four George Harrison tracks that were pointless (you need to find the answers that score 0 points) were
- ‘All Those Years Ago’
- ‘Any Road’
- ‘Ding Dong, Ding Dong ‘
- ‘You’
Personally I didnt think the top one would have been, forgot the second was a single, got the third, forgot the fourth existed as I hate the song. Would have won the money so all is good.

Today one of the lads in class was saying he had heard a Beatles song on the radio on the way there, and also that his guitar teacher had told him to listen to the Beatles’ first album and learn it, as they used nice simple common chords with some good tricky ones thrown in. And that he’d played A Hard Day’s Night . And he was saying that a lot of Beatles songs, he knows but doesn’t realise he knows them till he hears them. And I told him it’s because the Beatles are embedded in everyone’s subconscious because of karma and we’ve all heard them all in a past life. Yep.
What an incoherent word-vomit…

More of a George-y moment, but I heard a solo Harrisong on the radio today. Sadly, I can’t remember which one, all I remember is that it’s from the album Cloud Nine
