.. Today, I was wearing my Abbey Road shirt and I was outside playing with my neighbors (a 5 year old, a 7 year old, and a 12 year old) and the 7 year old says “Your shirt.. Three men and women, walking across a street. Really?” I immediately reply with “…that’s 4 men…” I later asked which ones they thought were girls and which one they didn’t see. The 5 year old said Ringo and George looked like girls, and the 7 yr old said John and George looked like girls. And, of course, they didn’t see John for some strange reason. Later, I told the 12 year old the whole story (she wasn’t there when it happened) and she says “YOU’VE NEVER HEARD OF THE BEATLES? GOSH, KIDS THESE DAYS!”

Upon further perusal of the Abbey Road cover, I can see why one might think John was female, particularly if it was on a t-shirt (as we all know, t-shirt images aren’t the clearest). His beard looks like it could be part of his long hair (which could be perceived as a feminine hairstyle) and the lapels of his coat doesn’t exactly make him look flat-chested, if you know what I mean. 
But… George?! And Ringo?! Gosh, kids these days!

Offline In American Psycho, Patrick Bateman (the titular character) says at one point how he heard the last few notes of ‘A Day In The Life ‘ while walking past a restaurant (?) I believe.
He also gets asked the saddest song he’s ever heard and he says “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” by the Beatles.
Finally he tortures and murders two prostitutes to a ‘Traveling Wilbury’s CD’, well I’ll never be able to listen the Wilburys the same-way ever again!
Also I was at an artist’s house the other day and he had a magazine with a caricature of Paul on the cover.
