Today I had an English test and two excercises were related to John, the first one was a True or False, which I completed without even reading the text, and the second one were some questions.

I was the library representative today at the Disability Awareness event. At one table, you matched celebrities to the disability they have. One of them for amputation was Heather Mills.
I wouldn’t even count her as a Beatles Moment.

The host on Meet the Press used “You say you want a Revolution ” to introduce a show segment.
I guess all these references were buzzing around in the air for 45 years and I just wasn’t tuned in to recognize them.

I’ve been meaning to post a few Beatley moments that happened right around my birthday, but I have been forgetting to post them
First, I was trying to work a phone I got, and suddenly, my dad starts playing Birthday on my moms IPad
Also, I was listening to music, and suddenly my friend from NC called, and right after she wishes me a happy birthday, All You Need Is Love started playing. I swear, I thought it was my friend playing it. Turns out it was my own music…

‘Julia ‘ started playing at the pub I was in watching the Scotland game last night.
Someone turned it off before it got to the end.

On September 10, I saw of Montreal in concert. The George Harrison song Run Of The Mill was played in the pre-show music.

Yesterday had a hurrah of Beatley moments. First, I went to Newbury Comics and got the White Album . On the car ride home, I’ve Got A Feeling , Band On The Run , Rocky Raccoon , and Hey Jude start playing on the radio. And that is how I found out about Rocky Raccoon and I’ve Got A Feeling . My mom even commented on my Beatles knowledge with “You know alot about The Beatles…”
Also, on the ride there, the very beginning of Birthday started playing while the station was making birthday announcements, duh!

You cant go anywhere without finding Beatles.
From wiki’s entry for jelly babies
When Beatlemania broke out in 1963, fans of The Beatles pelted the band with jelly babies (or, in the USA, the much harder jelly beans) after it was reported that George Harrison liked eating them.

My Social Studies teacher told us that we are soon going to watch a parody of Taxman , expect it’s about Ötzi the Iceman. I even said “Oh my god, I love that song” and half the class stared at me like I was crazy or something

I was watching the Charlie Chaplin short “The Pawnshop” and at the beginning of it, there was a title: “This restoration made possible by [X], [X], [X], and [X].” The last name on the list was the Material World Charitable Foundation.

That piqued my curiosity. Others here may have already known this, but a quick Google search led me to discover that the MWCF supports an organization called The Film Foundation.
TFF was founded by Martin Scorsese who, of course, made the George doc Living In The Material World .
I find it cool that while George’s foundation supports dozens of others that benefit humans and wildlife, there is also one that helps preserve old films that may have otherwise been lost forever. The man loved movies. Just ask the Pythons.

It’s overcast this morning, but I was playing Here Comes The Sun and while playing it, for a few brief moments, the sun peeked through. 😀
