Read this on a whim, and in interest, with the thought that it may happen and would you know it, in it pops. One of the worst business decision ever made according to interesticle.com is Decca’s rejection of the Beatles in 1962.
The article also has a cool Abbey Road pic

I saw a chap at the grocery shop yesterday evening wearing a Beatleshow t-shirt. (By a funny coincidence, I was wearing my Beatles 1964 t-shirt.)

I forgot to share this forever ago, but once I went to the grocery store and I was wearing my Abbey Road t-shirt. The girl at the cash register told me she liked my t-shirt, and my mom stares at me and then says “Yup, I have a 12 year old daughter that’s into The Beatles…”
Therefore, I met a Beatle maniac at a Shaw’s grocery store that my mom used to work at

There was a Beatles-related topic for the final round on the quiz show ‘Pointless’ this evening. Contestants are offered 4 topics and they pick one. I said to my brother before they came up “oh I hope there’s a Beatles one” (there often is) and I was right! They could have picked:
The Traveling Wilburys
When I saw it, I shouted at the telly “DO THE TRAVELING WILBURYS!!! PICK THE TRAVELING WILBURYS!!!!”, they ended up picking ‘Chemistry and Physics’- and they won so good on them I guess.
I imagine the question is that they have to name songs on a Wilbury’s album or the pseudonyms that they went under.
Now I have to watch it every evening until someone picks the Wilburys :/

I was multi-tasking– playing Go Fish, socialising, and blissing out to Abbey Road on vinyl– today, and my first four-of-a-kind was sevens (rather slim Beatley moment, I know).
Seven is George’s favourite number.

It also would’ve been hilarious if it were nine. Then, you could start having Revolution 9 run through your brain

BBC video feature on Peter Blake which has the stupid claim (from the BBC guy) that his most famous creation with Jann Haworth (the Pepper cover) “transformed the Beatles from boy band to legend”.
Listening to any Peter Blake interview is like listening to one with Pete Best.

Today, while I was in the car with my mom, we were listening to the radio. Suddenly, Back In The USSR starts playing, and of course, being the person I am, I sing along the whole song

And that reminds me of a story from like a month ago. I know, I forget to post Beatley moments easily…
Okay, once I woke up one day sometime back in July, and my parents were listening to the radio. The entire St. Pepper album was playing on the radio station. I don’t think they had it on for long though, because the first song I heard was the Sgt. Pepper Reprise, then A Day In The Life starts up, and my mom and I start singing it while she was cleaning
Edit: I don’t remember if I posted that story already, but pardon me if I have already!

So I’m looking at a bunch of flowers in the garden growing tightly together. Hadn’t really paid attention before, but they’re kinda shaped like strawberries.
Today I see the fellow who planted them and I asked him what they’re called.
“Strawberry Fields”

I mentioned that today is George and Olivia Harrison’s anniversary, and after the ‘George Harrison ? You mean that Beatle guy?’s had subsided, one girl said, ‘George Harrison ?…. He was the drummer, right?’
She quickly corrected herself (as did others, myself included).
(To be fair, wonsaponatime I thought Paul was the drummer. And technically, he did drum. A bit.)
