^^ I did that during my brief tenure in guitar class and the professor had to shake it out in front of the entire class.
I should have taken it as a sign before I wound up in the hospital.

Ha, I used to do that too ’til I switched to electric.
Another Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game last night in the Air Canada Centre, another brief clip of “Revolution ” on the PA during a play stoppage, another Leafs victory. Second time in the past month this has happened! https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…../page-166/ Some kind of true Beatley miracle, considering what a dreadful team my Leafs are.

Just hold on to the pick for dear life!!
My fingers are long, so if I do, by chance, drop my pick, I just center the pick and can usually carefully grab it.
Don’t like shaking it upside down… Feels like guitar abuse.
(And by the amount of commas in that second sentence I think it’s safe to say I’m PWT again! )

It was because I got a bit frustrated that my fingers on the pick slipped. And I hold my pick loosely. I must admit I was a bit scared shaking it for fear it would fly out of my… AH! gotta stop. Too-vivid imaginings.

Posting While Tired. I’m not sure where it originated, but by this point it should probably be in the Zigtionary. I’ll put it there and @ you because you probably don’t know what a Zigtionary is either!

Had a Georgey moment this morning.
On George’s song ‘P2 Vatican Blues (Last Saturday Night)’, I always smile when his thick Liverpudlian accent makes the lyrics “One Our Father, three Hail Marys each Saturday night” sound like “three Hail Murrays”. Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles signed a coveted football player named DeMarco Murray. The headline in a local newspaper this morning read, “Hail Murray”.

A few days ago at the grocery store they were playing a cover of I’m Looking Through You that I didn’t really like.
Why not just play The Beatles?!

And later passed by the office of the Tragical History tour in Hollywood.

Today’s Beatles Bible song of the day is “Getting Better “, the phrase which was a favourite of Jimmie Nicol’s. Who is, currently, featured person.

My sister (Luap, remember her?) is watching Full House. One of the characters said “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da , life goes on, brah.”
Edit: ACCKKCK Now in that same episode, an awful cover of Drive My Car is playing.

I’m watching an episode of Bones and there was a Beatles reference!
One character mentioned a ‘dancer’ named Abbey Road and another said “That’s enough, Ringo.”

Beatles fans must’ve written these episodes. Beginning of the episode after the one above and there was this line, “Talk about Instant Karma .”

I had a Beatley moment this morning. I was listening to “All Those Years Ago” when I came across this post, which included the dark day in 1980 which “All Those Years Ago” is chiefly concerned with. *snif*

Beatlebug, Mr. Kite, ZigI say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

Two episodes later, the one I’m watching now, a line about someone on drugs included the phrase, ‘Magical Mystery Tour .’

This is really obscure, but I was asked to volunteer at the movie theater last night, and they were showing American Harmony, a documentary about a barbershop quartet competition. And during some performances, there’d be a credit in the bottom left corner naming the group performing, the song, the publisher, etc. And I noticed that one of the songs is owned by MPL (it was “Fugue for Tinhorns” from “Guys and Dolls”).
Like I said, really obscure.

I had a Beatley Moment in one of my dreams. (It was more of a moment than a whole dream.) In the dream, I was looking over an email, and someone’s email address was “maccamaccamacca” at somethingrather dot com.
Yeah… weird.

Well it is Sinatra, so I guess you could understand why MPL would want to own it. But really obscure, indeed!
