Seen on the floor of an antique shop:

There’s two things wrong with this: 1) It’s on the floor; 2) it’s an antique shop

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 That’s a nice painting.

So at the grocery store earlier Paul’s Fine Line was playing. It was nice to hear someone playing something of Paul’s from that time. Don’t hear it too often, usually Beatles and Wings.

Chaos and Creation is one of my favorite Paul albums, but it doesn’t get much attention, so that’s pretty cool.

One time I was rather ill, and I threw up while listening to a certain song by The Beatles. I can’t listen to that song anymore because it reminds me of vomiting. paul-mccartney

I’m not specifying which song because I’ll probably ruin it for you as well. ahdn_paul_02

While driving to work this morning, I passed a vehicle with a license plate that reads TAXES EA. I don’t know what the EA stood for, but I smiled as I passed him with my license plate that reads REVOLVR.

@Zig, I just had to look it up. EA=Enrolled Agent http://www.naea.org/taxpayers/…..lled-agent.

Enrolled agents (EAs) are America’s Tax Experts. EAs are the only federally licensed tax practitioners who specialize in taxation and also have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

Awesome @Ahhh Girl – so he was a Taxman . ahdn_george_01

@Starr Shine? – my mind first went to the Electronic Arts folks as well. Then I thought to myself, “hey, self – what a boring game that would be”. I can hear the tag line now – “EA Taxes – it’s in the game”.

Not sure where else to put this… the 45 Fab Facts link to uDiscover was posted at the official Beatles FB page.

Went to the cinema yesterday, and after the film ended we walked out of course, and came back in the central hall, and Hey Jude was playing.

My mother had taken my brother and me to the grocery store. She told us to get a dozen eggs and my brother suddenly screams, “I am the eggman!”, then I said, “They the eggmen!” and then we shouted together “I Am The Walrus !”. Everyone around us looked at us as if we we crazy and we definitely managed to embarrass my mother.

Wonderful story, @LittleBeatlemaniac. It is nice to know that your brother knew that song too. Your mom should be glad that was what you did instead of twerking.

For those of you who missed this conversation, here’s a link to it. I hope you find it funny. https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..-got-away/

On the ESPN Sports Center broadcast today, there was a report about Will and Kate meeting Jay Z and Beyonce at a basketball game.  The conversation was not recorded, but the ESPN reporter, Kenny Main, speculated that Will and Kate were saying “the walrus was Paul.”

I seem to have a monopoly on Beatley moments.  I have been spending a lot of time on telephone hold lately. Most of the time, I get some kind of new age crap music which is some corporate suit’s idea of inoffensive, I assume.  Yesterday , though, I got a harpsichordy  instrumental version of ‘Here Comes The Sun .’  Despite the bastardization, it was calming and familiar. ahdn_george_05 Why doesn’t everybody have original Beatles’ tunes on hold?  Their customers would be much happier and more cooperative.

I’d be annoyed if i got my call answered half way thru one of the songs because someone finally picked was available. Once a Beatle song starts it should be played thru until the end. That should be a law.

Agreed; well, except for Revolution 9 .  I pretty much can remember how it ends.

Which i do. I hate the song but if i play ‘With The Beatles ‘ it doesn’t get skipped, if it comes randomly on my iPod it gets played thru. With gritted teeth admittedly but it gets played thru.
