She’d still be wrong though, as the Apple building wasn’t in the Big Apple.

In relation to the Beatles with donkey’s in July 1963 (see here) there is similar from August 1969.
We could use them for the front and back covers of a Beatles animal album (song with animals in the titles/lyrics) with one of the Martha 1968 pic for the gatefold picture (or a montage using loads of different ones).
I’ll contact Apple.

My nephew and his girlfriend visited LA for her birthday, so we had breakfast. The cafe had a mix that included “Here Comes The Sun ” and Joe Cocker’s version of “With A Little Help From My Friends .”
My nephew’s in Vegas, and told me he can get me 50% off on “Love” tickets, so I need to save up to see it finally.

More of a Paulie moment but i’ll post it here
I was listening to Pour Some Sugar On Me on iTunes while one of Paul’s video was buffering. I was unconscious that I had a video buffering and as soon as i head Paul’s voice, i paused the song and you know what came to my mind then…”Shut Up Paulie is Talking”

Watching an episode of ‘The Chase’ and it has a Beatle question.” In which US city did the Beatles play their last live public concert?
A. New York B. Los Angeles C. San Francisco”
The lady has given A as her answer, she says she knows it as it was above the Apple building.
That’s too funny!

Had a Beatley Moment, following a Policy moment!
I watching this live video of So Lonely, and preparing for the line “welcome to this one man show.” Right before he sang it I thought, “How rude Sting, there are three of you putting on a show!” ( Maybe not phrased like that but I did think along those lines) Sure enough what do I hear Sting sing not a second later? “Welcome to this three man show!”
Then my Beatley moment came. Is it just me or do Stewart Copeland’s drums look familiar?

This is really a Paul moment I guess. The 15.10.1995 episode of The Simpsons recorded on my dvr because Paul and Linda guest-voiced. Paul delivered the line:
“Linda and I feel strongly about animal rights. In fact, if you play Maybe I’m Amazed backwards, you’ll hear a really ripping recipe for lentil soup.”

Yesterday , while reading the White Teeth by Zadie Smith I came across this line:
“Ringo Starr once said of the Beatles that they were never bigger than they were in Liverpool, late 1962. They just got more countries.”

I was going to say, that Stew was left handed, so his kit would have been arranged like Ringo’s. But a quick look at his wiki entry shows both Stew and Ringo set their kits up right-handed. I too see a resemblance in the “look & feel” of their kits, however.
EDIT: removed my brain fart where I repeated my post 3 back…

It was the word raccoon in it so yip. Could make the song into a cartoon.
More likely, John & Paul made the cartoon into a song (or was your comment saying the same thing using sarcasm?)

Great video, Kite – one of my favorite Police songs! Was Sting playing a fretless bass? It was hard to tell with the video quality being what it was.

I didn’t know he was left-handed! Thanks for that. Both Copeland and Ringo have distinct drumming styles though, I’m sure the left-on-right thing adds to it, if it’s not the main reason they sound so distinct.
