I’m watching a quiz on tv called “The Smartest Human” and one of the contestants is wearing a shirt that says “Paul, John, George & Ringo“
Bet your money on that contestant!
He lost. While he was pretty hilarious, he actually didn’t know a lot.
@Beatleva Yes! That’s the one! 😀

I was behind a car at a stop light with many bumper stickers. While reading through them I found one that was the Sgt. Pepper logo.

I was only half listening to the television that is on. There was some commercial about a Penny Lane something-or-other at a casino in Tunica, MS. I’m at my mom’s near Memphis for the week. She is getting a new battery in her pacemaker tomorrow.

Stumbled upon a small rock themed caffe on a recommendation of one friend. We sat somewhere in particular, where we could see all the vinyls that were put on the wall. There were a lot of names, many Croatian and foreign bands and my eye catched the name “Ringo Starr ” on one vinyl. Cool.
Then we order our drinks and suddenly Twist And Shout starts playing on the radio. I am again wearing my Beatles shirt and I have a huge grin.
And then, upon closer inspection of the room next to us, we discover a pool table and a jukebox. Threw quite a bit money to blast Beatles, but it was quite fun

I made a friend recently and one yesterday we were walking around town aimlessly. Out of nowhere, she ran into her father, and I dropped my jaw. Her father is John Lennon ‘s twin! He looked exactly like John (bed peace era), glasses and all, and once he spoke, even his voice sounded like John! I was tempted to ask if I could take a picture of him, but then saw how that could be awkward because he’s my new friend’s dad.

@StrawberryWalrus, RINGO!!! I shared Ringo’s Beaucoups of Blues album with my mom today. She said she thought Ringo should have been the lead/main singer of the Beatles. She adores his voice. How many Beatles selections did they have on the jukebox?
@ScrambledEggs, if you get to know this friend better perhaps the opportunity for a picture will arise.

Yeah, unfortunately no one I know adores Ringo’s voice or even acknowledge him (my brother calls him a midget). I can’t help myself tho, his singing on What Goes On is absolutely beautiful. I listened to Honey Don’t on BBC disk 2 version by John and it’s just worse than Ringo. Ringo is awesome.
As for selection, ahh, I guess they had most of the hits up to Hard Day’s Night, then it went kinda randomly. All You Need Is Love , Yesterday , Hey Jude , Drive My Car , Come Together … but then again it had some weird choices like Eight Days A Week , and there’s no I Am The Walrus ? Anyways, it was really pure fun, when I put on A Hard Day’s Night some older gentlemen with longer hair (kinda a classic biker’s style, that caffe) started “dancing”, to put it that way. Then we mixed in some Tom Jones, Blondie, Eagles, Jimi Hendrix, Smokie… a small fortune left in that jukebox, lol. Wish I had one at home for novelty purpose

I went to a diner today wearing one of my Beatles shirts (as I do about 6 days a week ) and a gentleman walked over who noticed my shirt. He told me the shirt was great, obviously a fan, and then he told me about a woman he met the day before. She was wearing an Abbey Road shirt she embroidered herself, and as he was talking to her he found out she was from Liverpool.
This woman was in her sixties and apparently, her father painted the zebra walk!! That’s pretty cool…

My shirt is popular today!
Went in a bank, needed a notary, and there was a woman waiting who noticed my shirt. The first thing he asked is if I’d ever been to London, not England but London, I said no but that I wish I could. She told me she used to live there in the 60’s and 70’s and said it was an amazing time, “a Revolution .” She asked if I played guitar, and I said yes, then she started talking about The Stones: “Mick Jagger, horrible singer, but Keith Richards had a great beat.” Then she said guitar can take you places and that was it.
I love how many Beatles fans seem to be around!

We’ve been in the hospital since 8:00 am. It is now 12:31 pm. The surgeon had 3 patients ahead of her. Waiting, waiting, waiting.
Oh, well, we’ve been rocking to Beatles tunes, and I’ve been telling her stuff from the Beatles Trivia – Even Easier thread. She thinks you all are amazing, funny, smart, and creative.

You read from that thread and she STILL thinks that? Are we talking about the same thread? I’ve posted to it and I think we are all nuts.
Tell her we are thinking about her.

@Zig, lol, we are talking about the same thread. It takes some creativity to be that off-the-wall. She thinks our questions and responses are fab.
While, I’m rambling, we watched the Scrambled Eggs skit that @Into the Sky with Diamonds played on his show recently. I’m surprised the nurses didn’t tell us to pipe down.

After reading this, they were probably higher than John ever was.

Watching an episode of ‘The Chase’ and it has a Beatle question.
” In which US city did the Beatles play their last live public concert?
A. New York B. Los Angeles C. San Francisco”
The lady has given A as her answer, she says she knows it as it was above the Apple building.
Not sure if they argued over the Get Back rooftop concert off-camera or not.
