Was about to go to bed but then my mother rang me to tell me there was a Beatles documentary on tv. It was more of a John Lennon documentary though.

Been having a Beatley weekend. Last night, I went to see the Omega String Quartet (plus clarinetist) play a free Beatles concert at a local park. And I finally met a fan from Paul’s board that I’ve been emailing with.
And this morning, we both went to a live broadcast of Breakfast with the Beatles with Chris Carter at the Hollywood Bowl Museum patio. They had breakfast and Beatley cupcakes, gave away tickets to next week’s tribute concert at the Bowl and Bob Eubanks was the special guest, sharing his memories.
I posted pics at my Instagram.

I walked back into my office after my shift at the reference desk. This gift was waiting for me.
It is the book on cds. A coworker gave it to me. She was appreciative that I had introduced her so warmly to the members of the library association during the state-wide meeting this past Friday. She was very into The Beatles back in the 60s.

I watched The Muppet Movie yesterday (because I can) and caught some Beatley references. First, it was produced by Lew Grade who was portrayed as Lord Lew by Orson Welles in the movie.
Second, the bass player in the Muppet band called Electric Mayhem is named Sgt. Floyd Pepper and plays the bass left-handed.
There was also a running gag that appeared a few times in the film with the following exchange.
“Can you help me? I’m lost”
“Have you tried Hare Krishna?”

Yesterday while helping clean to the house, I put on the Magical Mystery Tour album to get me going.
Today during my last class at school, a technology help guy took the class around to different places with technology, and he called it a “Magical Mystery Tour .” The reference was obvious to me, but it was a nice coincidence I’d just listened to it a day ago.

Someone showed me a random youtube video (below – contains very bad language so if under age or easily offended best not to watch) and the first noticeable thing was that guy in the vid was wearing an AHDN t-shirt.

I get reports on which books in our Patron Driven Acquisition ebook programs get used. My latest report popped up with the book Pig.
I automatically thought of @Starr Shine? and Piggies .

Bought a Beatles T-shirt recently on our “bazaar”, let’s call it that… it’s the With The Beatles album cover, front and rear side.
So, my friends and I go for some drinks in this place by the seaside where there’s a lot of people, but mostly metal kids that like to wear black and, well, listen to metal music. You see a lot of cheap metal T-shirts with metal album covers like Iron Maiden on them, just like mine. Actually kinda liked wearing a Beatles shirt, to spite them or something
Nothing exciting happens for the night, except some very smelly hobo comes up to me, points at my shirt and starts: “We all live in a Yellow Submarine …” and I’m like, “heh, yeah, that’s it” and smile nervously. Then he asked for some spare change, ofcourse every one of us was suddenly peniless. Then he informed me that “punk started when Elvis died” and moved on to ask other people for spare change, I guess.
So… yeah, that’s all. Exciting, isn’t it.

The end of some radio drama was on in the kitchen and you could hear the end of ‘In My Life ‘ beneath the credits as they were read out.

I’m watching a quiz on tv called “The Smartest Human” and one of the contestants is wearing a shirt that says “Paul, John, George & Ringo“
Bet your money on that contestant!
