I was given an official Beatles birthday card a number of years back. Not as bad as 99% of the utter s**t they put out.
Tonight whilst playing a quiz machine one round was where you had to find the lowest scoring UK Beatles single out of a list of 10 so things like Lady Madonna , We Can Work It Out , Hey Jude were there. One answer, which we didnt go for, was Eight Days A Week which was taken as correct, got me right annoyed as that has never been issued as a single in the UK, totally pissed me off. Anyway the lowest scoring was Back In The USSR which we went for and got.
Another question was famous battles which thanks to this site we got the lowest answer – the Tet Offensive. So thank you Sky.

I’ve had a cupcake-themed calendar this year. Sorry, fabforumemily, I checked and none of the months have 35 days
So I turn to November and what do I see?
I immediately thought about the front of the McCartney album.
Then I started reflecting on my year. When I was looking at cupcakes during the first few months of this year, I didn’t know this album, or Paul McCartney for that matter, even existed. I’m Glad All Over . I’ve found the Beatles and all of you.

Do a google image search for Queen album covers and at the top of the screen one of the menu options is The Beatles with pictures of With The Beatles , Pepper and Abbey Road .

Called George, as in, named after our George, or just called George?
Aahh Girl, you misunderstand. Only my months have 35 days, of course there’s not that many in your calendar!

Well I suggested that his first name be George (as in named after our George), they said no but now his middle name is going to be George, named after my choice so really it’s named after our George

My math teacher makes a lot of Beatles references. The other day the board said Yesterday when I walked in, as we were going to be reviewing what we did the day before, and under the word Yesterday , in parentheses it said “love was such an easy game to play.”
I can’t recall if you have posted that your math teacher knows you “get” these references?

My British Lit teacher in high school was a massive Jethro Tull fan, and he used to sprinkle their song titles in his teachings. “The English government had heads thick as a brick,” that sort of thing.

5 Beatley Moments:
- We were talking about Rocky Horror. When its your first time going to see Rocky Horror its called “losing your virginity”. My husband said “Hey, we were two virgins.” I busted out laughing.
- We went to see Stone Temple Pilots in concert tonight. As we were waiting for the concert, the casino was playing music, and they played “Baby, You’re a Rich Man”
- As the band was coming on stage the background music was a instrumental version of “I Feel Fine “. I was like “that sound familiar.” It kept playing and it was the song!
- After the concert we hang around with one our friends waiting for her husband to show up and I noticed a fellow concert goer with a John Lennon shirt.

From the article, ”And if true, imagine owning the oddest bit of Beatles history; a car seen by billions and remembered by no one.”
That’s bang on. If you’d shown me a picture of that car, I would have thought it was just a random car, yet I’ve looked at it, or around it, dozens of times.

Yes, it would.
It would be nice to win big bucks anyways. The most I ever was about $150, not all at one time, but all in one day. I just kept playing this one machine, winning a little bit of money here and there till it added up. I made my mom mad because it was Mother ‘s Day and I was winning money while she was losing money.

We had a really bad (mostly pop) station playing at work for a few weeks because the classic rock one didn’t work. It’s finally working again and yesterday “Queenie Eye ” came on.
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

^^ Right? That song has really grown on me. I always liked it, but it’s moved up the list for sure.
