a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 I believe it looks better with the flowers too.

This is a close up I had as a fb cover.

I’ve always wanted a tattoo, so I decided to get something positive and something I would not regret when I’m old.  I love the meaning too, its not just words from a song to me. I plan to get another tattoo sorta Beatles related. I want a blackbird on my other arm with my brother’s name under it in memory of him. Blackbird is one of my favorite Beatles songs and my mother nicknamed my brother “bird” because he was born prematurely and sound like a bird when he cried.

Love it, thanks for posting!  I have also considered this for a tattoo.  On the same arm I have a “tree of life” that covers most of my upper arm, but there is a gap under the tree that’s about 3 inches.  I would like to fit in something Beatles related under it, to bridge between the two tattoos.  I don’t mind taking my time to decide, the Tree of Life is a coverup of one I had before that I didn’t like.  I learned my lessons young.

Have you decided what you want in that gap?

I would never ever let their heads be tattood. I’ve seen so many images on google of people who did that, and it never looked good.

Then again, I’d probably never get a tattoo anyway.

I have debated this for a long time, or something like it..

I call it (my right arm) my “hippie arm” so anything along those lines would jive.  It’s all about the jive, otherwise they just look stupid and scattered.  I’ve learned that the hard way with some tattoos. a-hard-days-night-ringo-14

I agree.  Silhouettes and things like that I would, but not faces.  They are really hard to do and if they are off even the slightest, they don’t look right.

I could never get any tattoo, even a cool Beatles one. It just doesn’t seem worth it to me, and I don’t think there is anything I wouldn’t end up regretting. Plus, they’re not actually vegetarian, so I couldn’t anyways.

What do you mean?  The places I have went to use “vegan ink”, if it’s the ink you are referring to.

Oh, I don’t know, I heard they weren’t. If the places said they used vegan ink, then they probably did, I guess.

No, I think it probably just depends on where you go and what they use.

Well if I’ve learned anything from being a vegetarian, it is to always ask and never assume.  a-hard-days-night-paul-10

Yeah, unless you’re asking if French fries or minestrone are vegetarian. Every time I ask that the waiter or whoever looks at me like I’m stupid and says yes, which is not always true. Then after I find out I have to go purge, which only gets rid of fifty percent of what you eat anyways..paul-mccartney

Is it just meat that you don’t eat, or do you avoid eggs and dairy and things like that, too? You don’t have to answer if it’s too personal a question.

Also known as Egg-Rock, Egg-Roll, E-George, Eggy, Ravioli, Eggroll Eggrolli...

Just don’t eat meat or fish and stuff like that. I want to be a vegan (you don’t eat any animal products), and I did that for a couple weeks, but It’s So Hard . I think eventually I’ll go for that, but for now I’m alright with just being a vegetarian.

Myself, (if you were asking me too..  either way I’m telling ya! a-hard-days-night-george-10) I’m kind of an in-between right now.  I was a vegan for about half a year, and have been vegetarian for the last 4 years.  We don’t drink milk or cream, but we do still eat a bit of cheese and we eat eggs..  but they are free-range organic from a local farm that does’t slaughter, but retires their chickens.  You pay a hefty price but it’s not that bad, considering we only buy a carton every week or 2.  We are slowly cutting out the dairy and eggs.

I also don’t use/wear any leather, suede, duck down, wool, etc.

Did you try any of the cheeses?  That was the toughest for me.  All the vegan cheese just has this weird, not-cheese after taste.  Blech. paul-mccartney

I didn´t know ink wasn´t vegetarian. How come, do you know? What is in it?

There used to be “animal products” in the ink, from what the artists have told me.  I got my first one in ’99 and I had no idea back then.  I learned a couple years ago when I went to a place that advertised “vegan ink”.   I asked my artist and he said that although they advertise it, most places do these days (use vegan ink).  So hopefully I missed that generation.
