Hi folks. I’m talking here about songs remixed and remastered by Giles Martin, you can find them easily on YT (not 2009 remaster!). The problem is some of the songs sounds weird to me like Dear Prudence , Revolution , Something … I feel like the sound picture is too narow for stereo. Most of the intruments are panned in centre. It’s driving me mad, I can’t get it out of my head. So I’d like to hear your opinion, do you like Giles Martin production on it ? What do you think about it ?

Offline Hello all. I am in over my head when it comes to Rock Band, and I don’t have time to read through our existing Rock Band threads to try to figure this out. @LennonMacca, don’t worry, I or one of the mods will get your post moved to one of the other Rock Band threads if it needs to be moved.

Hi, and welcome to the forums. You may wish to check the link AG has in the post above, lots of discussion on these tracks.
As I understand it the songs are multi-tracked and made to account for the variable numbers of players who may be playing on a console. On my TV (which is stereo) they sound fantastic when we play the game, especially when I switch the TV to simulate surround sound. The YT tracks you mention could vary in quality depending on how they were recorded and from what source.
