I got 55% on the album cover one and 90%, 60%, 80%, and 60% on the lyrics ones respectively.
(Seriously, though. What colour is Ringo’s WATCH?!?!!! I had no idea he even wore a watch on that cover! Granted, I don’t like the MMT cover very much, so I haven’t stared at is as often as, say, Revolver . )

The lyric ones were hard. Normally lyric quizzes have the real lyrics and a couple of unconvincing made-up lyrics, but most of these were actual lyrics from the songs, and we had to remember the order they came in. Which is very, very, very difficult. They were so awesome

I think it’s green? I said “red” on the quiz but now that I’m thinking about it I think it’s green…
Edit: yep I just checked and it’s green. However Paul is wearing a red watch, which explains my mixup.

In your PiD quiz, @StrawberryFields91, which cover did you have as the one without any clues?
I know clues on all four options you gave.

I don’t think there are clues on the actual cover of MMT, although there are in the book that comes with it (I could be wrong).

@StrawberryFields91, Paul being the only one in black, Beatles spelt out in stars when held up to a mirror gives a phone number 2317438, which it was claimed when called a voice would say “You’re getting closer” before abruptly cutting off.

I’m pretty sure that’s in the booklet, not on the cover (he’s wearing white on the cover).

I’ve heard that, but never as PID clue. That makes sense, though.

Paul is said to be wearing the Walrus outfit on the cover by many (Paul said in an 1987 interview with Rolling Stone the head didn’t fit John).

And don’t forget Paul’s black carnation, if you’re counting the back cover…
(although it’s not exactly visible… never mind…)
The quiz was not made with back covers included.
And apologies to anyone I confused.
That’s okay, I would have failed the quiz anyway 🙂 (I picked Yesterday and Today when I was taking the quiz because I got it mixed up with Something New and thought it was released in 1964, before the whole PID thing… )
Love one another.

I always thought John was the one in the walrus suit… Then is Paul the one wearing it in the Magical Mystery Tour movie as well?

It seems like the kind of thing Paul might say to mess with people? I went and watched the I Am The Walrus music video, and John’s definitely wearing the walrus suit in it…

Myself, I don’t think it is Paul (which is why I said “by many”), but Paul seeming to confirm muddies the water, though Ringo said it was John. However, as the Life article from November ’69 where they tracked down Paul to his Scottish farm, which included the clues, it was one of the clues:
As we know, something doesn’t have to be right (mainly because Paul wasn’t dead) to have been a PiD clue!!!
It’s John in the film. Instruments and positions with costumes on and off show that.
This is said to be John on the cover by many.
And not a problem, @StrawberryFields91, it was just looking at the question and knowing there were clues on all four.
