^ I like Sean’s Friendly Fire album particularly ‘Dead Meat’. I want to make a video to that song some day, I have it plotted out perfectly in my head, where I’d film it, who’d be in it etc. etc.

Alright then, I was a bit worried there 😛
THERE IS SOMETHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE BEATLES
Google search “Truth Contest” & go to the website, then click The Present on the homepage. The chapter about The Beatles is on pages 59-68. Check it out.
^ I almost lost it by the amount of times I read this or something about the ‘Truth Contest’ on YT

Trip down memory lane right?
On my phone I can only see about 12 YT comments before it stops scrolling and I remember for about a month every single comment was ‘The Truth Contest’. Yes The Beatles were prophets sent by God to teach us that our women “ain’t no peasants”.

Not sure where else to put this, but Rolling Stone has Sean’s favorite Top 10 lost psychadelic tunes.parlance
I saw that list in my copy of the magazine and wanted to check some of the songs out (always on the lookout for new-to-me psychedelic tunes), but sadly I think we recycled the magazine before I got around to it and never came back to it.
That said, I’m as familiar with any of them as I’d think I would be, but I dig some of the recent stuff I’ve heard from Sean.

On this forum, maybe, but do me a favour and don’t look at YouTube comments.

Julian is my favorite. I remember when “Valotte” came out in the early 1980s. I kept hearing this beautiful song on the radio. I would never hear the deejay announce the name or artist. I thought it was a John recording that was discovered and released. Then one day as I was driving, there was the song again. Then the deejay said, “That’s Julian Lennon.” Talk about goosebumps racing all over me!
That’s not to say that Julian was imitating his dad. He just had similar voice, but he is his own artist. I also love that he inspired “Hey Jude .”
Cheers!

Like it! I’ve never heard “Valotte” (or any song by a Beatle’s kid) on the radio. I just hear the actual Beatles. But Julian is cool. Thanks for sharing!
By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.
