paulmccartney.com has announced that iTunes are giving away a free EP called 4, featuring a solo track by each Beatle (John – Love; Paul – Call Me Back Again; George – Let It Down ; Ringo – Walk with Me).
More of a heads-up for those in the UK than news. Today’s Times has an interview with Olivia. Difficult to say anything on it as The Times is behind a pay wall. Looks like a day to buy a paper!

Paul’s Simon‘s performance and interview are up at Conan O’Brien’s official site.
I’ll edit with YouTube links later, as the above links probably aren’t viewable outside the US.
Edit: YouTube video of Paul Simon on Conan O’Brien last night (they haven’t posted the interview there yet):

* If you’re going to Paul‘s concert in San Diego Sunday, it’s recommended you take the train (and I can attest it’s a lovely trip). [x-posted to the Out There thread]

@parlance Have you heard about this? I looked through the last few pages here and didn’t see it.* You could probably win if you have another good idea like your Appreciate video.
The link is to an article on the George Harrison website in which they’ve announced a contest to make the official music video for George’s song What Is Life . The top five entries will get the new Apple Years Box Set, and number 1 will get $5k on top of that! The top video is chosen by Dhani and Oliva from the top five.
I’m going to try and put together a video for it, although I’m sure real filmmakers are aware of this opportunity, giving me little chance. Parlance, however, could probably at least get into the Top 5!
I’m going to start a thread which I will link back to here, as I’m sure there are enough creative people on here for that to be a good conversation as many may enter. And if by some slim chance the entire top 5 are from the BB (including myself, like I said slim chance) and I don’t get first I’ll look back at this moment with regret.
*If this has already been announced on the site, please tell me and I will put on my dunce cap and walk to the corner.
