Paul’s the first musician to get 10 million followers on the Japanese social network LINE: http://www.paulmccartney.com/n…..rs-on-lineImagine that many people, and they’re all fans of Paul (and that’s just one country). Mind-boggling!
If he could get half of them to buy his latest album it would be No.1 for a decade!!

Here’s a picture from the game a few weeks ago:
And one from the article you just posted:
I wonder if family patriarch Paul put his foot down for this second game and said to his family, “All mobile phones and devices will be left in the car during this game. We are going to have family time. Deal with it.”

Or maybe because they had better seats they were more into it.

Paul and Nancy were at Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday party Saturday night. They made sure they ate before they arrived and danced only with each other all night.

There’s also something quite possessive about it. It reminds me of that control room booth in Let It Be where Paul is warning people away from Linda. I wonder what would have if the President and the First Lady had asked for a dance, whether Paul would really no to dancing with the President and Nancy would have turned down the First Lady? Or did I mean that the other way ’round? Oh well!

Also, just found this LA Times interview with the director, David Smith on the special. Here’s the part about Ringo:
What was it like working with Ringo Starr , who plays a “flamboyant mathematician” named Fibonacci Sequins?
Our jaws dropped. … We came up with a character design to play the world’s most famous mathematician, we sent it his way and he passed. My heart kind of broke a little bit, but it was a polite pass. Then, I animated a four- to five-minute pitch cartoon we sent to him about how I was introduced to him in the 1980s when I saw him in “Caveman” and found out he was the Beatles’ drummer. I couldn’t believe he said yes. What an incredibly awesome dude.

The Schumacher Gallery in at Capital University in Bexley, Ohio is the latest to show a 12-year-old touring exhibit of the band’s arrival in the US called “The Beatles! Backstage and Behind the Scenes.” The exhibit includes photos by Bill Eppridge, whom I had the pleasure of meeting at Photo LA last year.

The special will air on CBS on February 9 — 50 years to the date of The Beatles’ historic performance on “The Ed Sullivan Show.”

He was a regular at the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany and befriended the Beatles before they hit it big.
