* According to JamBase, Paul will be on Jimmy Fallon Oct. 7.
* If you missed it, night 2 of IHeartRadio will be broadcast on the CW tonight from 7-9pm EST/PST.
* From The Examiner: Paul is rumored to be playing Brazil again in time for the 2014 World Cup.
A journalist who correctly predicted Paul McCartney ‘s tour of Brazil in 2013 reported on a South American website Sept. 29 he’ll be back there again for another concert in 2014.
Ancelmo Gos of O Globo, a major newspaper based in Brazil, said McCartney and Beyonce would both be playing Brazil next year in concerts to coincide with the World’s Cup there in 2014. The show has not been announced by Paul McCartney officially.
* From Billboard: sales of “Baby Blue” by Apple artists Badfinger shot up by 3000% following the use of the song in the finale of “Breaking Bad.”
Industry sources suggest the song is set for a nearly 3,000% sales gain in the week ending Sept. 29. It sold nearly 5,000 downloads just last night. Remarkably, that one-day figure should immediately make the 1972 song earn its largest digital sales week ever. It has never sold more than 1,000 downloads in a single week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
* From Rolling Stone: another charity Beatles covers album comes out today, Beatles Reimagined.

I was just wondering that myself. Would it be worth staying/waking up early for him only answers questions to “What is favorite color?”?

I wonder who’ll buy John’s first house? A fan or just an average person? I’m guessing maybe the former if the auction is going to be held at the Cavern.

It said its suppose to be a joke about the banning, but yet you shouldn’t ignore it.
I’m addicted to looking at facebook even though I don’t write on there much, for its something to look at while I’m bored at work or school. Well, I’m not going to be on set anyways, but if I were I would probably too star struck to look at my phone, so maybe that would help.

* WogBlog posted a transcript of Paul’s Twitter Q&A, and reports that Giles Martin will be at the Regent St Apple Store on Monday to play a sneak preview of the new album (he later tweeted it’ll be at 7:30).
* One of the fans picked for the “Queenie Eye ” video wrote about her experiences at the Maccaboard.
Finally, at about 6pm, all the extras were summoned into Studio 2. STUDIO 2! The holiest of holies! It really is like stepping into a time capsule – that familiar parquet flooring, the acoustic baffles on the walls, the control room steps – WOW. So overcome by all this was I that it took me a moment to realise that the subtle tinkling coming from the piano was none other than Paul himself, who was sitting there, casually jamming away. We were all spaced out around the studio – some lounging on the rugs, some perching on the control room steps, some standing up on flight cases. They then basically did about 5 takes of everyone dancing away to the song, with Paul at the piano, followed by close-ups of various featured actors (such as some long-haired pagan types, a group of urban youths, etc).
Paul, looking healthy and happy in blue, and was wonderfully relaxed and chatty throughout. To witness him sitting there, ‘thinking out loud’ on the piano between takes – IN Abbey Road STUDIO 2 – was, without one of the highlights of my entire life. He broke into the odd jazz standard, a bit of Babyface, and a chorus of Lady Madonna . Whadda man. A Hofner bass was propped up on a stand behind him. I let my mind ring with all the fly-on-the-wall studio chatter from back in the day, and it was as if the past fifty years just drifted away. Magical. And to top it all off, Peter Blake was sitting on a chair just behind me!
* A blog that describes the song itself.
Reportedly quite a trippy and fun song, Queenie Eye supposedly sounds like the hybrid offspring of The Beatles’ I A The Walrus from their Magical Mystery Tour album and Monkberry Moon Delight from one of Paul’s early solo studio albums Ram .
* Liverpool Echo story about an American fan who was flown in to donate her original copies of the first three Beatles albums, bought direct from Liverpool’s Crease’s Music Store.
