I wonder if Jon Stevens allowed Ringo to make up the drum part to go along with the song. I bet he did.

ewe2’s video didn’t work for me, so here’s another link

Ironically yours isn’t available for me, so there must be some geoblocking going on in both directions. It certainly sounds like Ringo’s choice of drumming to me also.

A concert DVD documenting the 2009 “Change Begins Within” charity concert benefiting the David Lynch Foundation will be released September 1st. The concert notably featured a Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr reunion,…

The Change Begins Within show took place April 4th, 2009 at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

The setlist for the concert DVD boasts an array of collaborations, …and the entire lineup closing the show with McCartney’s “Cosmically Conscious” and the Beatles’ “I Saw Her Standing There .” McCartney and Starr also performed several tracks on their own, though fittingly came together for a rendition of “With A Little Help From My Friends .”

Snippets of the gig can be seen in a promotional video compiled by the David Lynch Foundation and released in 2010.

Among 4 new signature models from Fender is a limited edition (1000) George Harrison Rosewood Telecaster, Guitar World reports:

George-Harrison-Signature-Rosewood-Telecaster.jpgImage Enlarger

To honor George Harrison ‘s venerable career, Fender has created the George Harrison Rosewood Telecaster, a limited-edition commemoration that embodies Harrison’s elegantly restrained playing style and sound. Based on the original Telecaster created for Harrison by luthier Roger Rossmeisl, this model remains true to its heritage with a classic look and the unique tone only an all-rosewood guitar can produce. The body is chambered for reduced weight and increased resonance.

Other features include a rosewood neck with a laminated 9.5″ radius rosewood fingerboard and a custom neck plate engraved with an “Om” symbol. A classic in every way, this refined instrument was born in the era that defined rock n’ roll. Harrison’s legacy is one of innovation and creativity, and the rosewood Telecaster became one of his primary instruments of choice. Only 1,000 units will be available worldwide.

Lucky you’re left-handed and don’t have the money then.

We don’t want you falling off the roof! Is it flat or gabled/arched? If it’s gabled/arched, you’d have a huge problem with balance.

I only recommend buying this guitar if you are very good on guitar. If you can’t determine how good you are at guitar try to play 25 Beatles songs in a row, making sure to play all of the lead guitar parts. If you are having trouble with even one (by trouble i don’t mean you missed a couple of notes or anything like that, i mean like really having a hard time playing the song) song, then you shouldn’t buy an expensive guitar and instead should go for a cheaper alternative. If you want to discuss that with me, move this to the Incredibly Impossible thread but anyways, if you are an excellent guitarist, then i recommend purging your college funds on expensive guitars like this one.

If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

John Lennon ‘s gypsy caravan was rediscovered back in 2012. It was in an extremely poor state and there were plans to restore.

Now an appeal has been launched by Peacing Together to raise funds for that restoration, with the backing of The Cavern Club and The Beatles Story.

This Daily Mail article from 2013, soon after its rediscovery, shows just what a terrible state it is in.

The Telegraph has a short interview with Beatles’ accountant Harry Pinsker. Some interesting little facts in it.

A new official Raymond Weil ‘Geneve’ Beatles watch is available to buy, limited to 3,000. Only £995.

If their first is anything to go by, yours for the incredibly inexpensive price of £975, it will be a really nice watch.

What a terrible idea. First of all, if it weren’t for the logo and a few other minor details, it would be an average watch. Second of all, while the white watch acknowledges Magical Mystery Tour as an album, it doesn’t do so for Help ! despite MMT being an EP and the latter being a full length album. Also, the watch costs over $1,200 despite not having any gold on it. Lastly, they add The Beatles in the stupidest way. Imagine asking your Beatles loving friend what time it is only for him to say A Hard Day’s Night Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band instead of 3:35. I’ll pass.

If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

Look again, @Dark Overlord. What album cover do the four figures between Beatles For Sale  and Rubber Soul  come from?
