I understand that this is not a very important topic, but it has been bugging me.
Are these correct:
John 178 cm
Paul 178 cm
George 178 cm
Ringo 173 cm
But what is more interesting, how tall were the “other beatles”, Pete Best and Stuart “Little”? I think it would be nice to know what people at that time considered to be small. Do you think Ringo was a shortie?

Offline *Was* Stuart short? Ringo was probably of average height — it's just that the other 3 were 2 inches taller than him. 🙂

Offline I don't know if it's just me but as they got older, they seemed to get shorter. Like in the 1990s, George looked short. but then Ringo looked like he grew an inch sometimes. John stilled looked tall (maybe because of his slim figure) up until his death. And Paul looks about the same height depending on the year. He looke shorter in the 90s, but looks rather tall now. I don't know.

Offline It appears that other beatles(especially John and Paul) used to tease Stuart about his height. And in literature he's usually described as a petite man with small build. However, this is all second-hand information, and the most precise description is that his height was the same as Astrid's. Problem is, I don't know how tall she was(is).
I guess his height is top secret?

Offline Speaking of older and younger, Someone today told me I look like im 7 years old! Im 13! Another person said I look like a porcelin doll!
But I made up a comeback for both of them, “Yeah I may look like I'm 7 now, but when Im 40 and I look 20, your gonna wish you were me,” That got them to stop teasing me!

I do have a roundish face, (From my parents) and I seem to have stopped growing. (I havent grown an inch since 5th grade!)
But I like looking young, I'll be happy when im older. Carding dosen't sound bad now that I think of it.

Offline I did some googling on this when I was researching my plan to save John. Apparently John (and Paul and George) were pretty much the same height, with Paul being a fraction taller than the others, but their heights were exaggerated to make them seem more attractive, like the Rolling Stones' ages being pulled down.
Ringo was supposedly 5'5 or 6 but had his height pulled up to 5'8 so that people didn't think “he's not five inches shorter than them!”, and someone who was 5'10 reported being taller than one of the three, so maybe 5'9. I don't think we can really say though.
