I dreamed I was contemplating buying a pair of glasses owned by George Harrison . They were in this collection of Beatles artifacts that this man was selling.

I had this mad dream while I was swimming up from the depths of slumber this morning.
I dreamt Little Girl had flipped my calender for me and drawn Beatles all over it. As I was smiling fondly over the winsome sketches, the drawing turned into a sort of cartoon on my computer screen. In it, Paul had gotten some sort of potion that made anyone he fancied fall for him, and somehow he found John playing hide-and-seek, and the potion made John fall for him and John started kissing Paul (who was also under the influence of the potion) and they sort of fell on the floor and what they did there is to be left to imagination. George and Ringo, who were nearly wetting themselves laughing, tossed a rainbow-coloured suitcase and bedding after them. Then a second Paul (it’s a dream, okay?) came over with a magic wand and magicked everything back to normal. John and Paul came shooting out like corks from bottles, absolutely appalled; and Brian Epstein came out too, saying, ‘I was only trying to help!’
(I don’t need or want to imagine what was going on down there.)
Anyways, in the dream, I laughed myself silly, then closed that tab because it was a bit scarndylous-like.
When I woke up properly, I remembered and laughed myself silly again.
In the interest of complete disclosure, I must admit I am somewhat appalled at my subconscious. My dream reads like a bad fan fiction…ergh!

That wouldn’t have taken much laughter.

Silly Girl quoted some time previously
Then, last night, I dreamt something verrrrrry interesting… it starts as some song comes on the radio which started with very sitar-y noises and I mention it had been produced by George Harrison , and then I turn to George, who happens to be sitting there, for confirmation and he says yes. I proceed to ask him several technical-musical questions (the sorts of things a Beatlefan asks a Beatle, you know). Then he asks me to join him privately for tea, as he has something to tell me…
(My dream-mind informs me that he’s going to tell me that we’re cousins on his mother’s side.)
So George sits down in the provided seat, and takes his tea. Then he leans over and whispers in my ear, ‘You’re my daughter.’
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My dream-self takes it quite calmly, however, though I note that this was a departure from what I’d expected. In the dream, all my life I’d thought I was an orphan, but apparently not.
Then I pluck up the courage to ask, ‘What about my mother?’ And he confesses he doesn’t know.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTT?????????!!!!!!!!!!! #2.
Then we begin discussing technical matters of wills, namely, his leaving me his fortune without revealing our relation. I suggest he could take me on as an apprentice, so it would appear seemly.
So I had another dream related to this… although this time it wasn’t me, I was just sort of in that character’s shoes, so to speak.
Basically the dream was where I was George’s (illegitimate) daughter, only college-age or something, and I was trying to find a job. But I felt that if the employers knew who my father was, I’d be getting the job too easily. So it was a great secret. I remember in the first bit, this older chap (grey-haired, tall, very dignified) was walking me round and saying I ought to just go ahead and reveal the secret, and I– somewhat distracted– was wondering who he was and what was our business together. ‘Is he courting me or something? He’s a bit old. Oh, I think it’s s’posed to be George Harrison– drats, it doesn’t look like him at all!’ and I was trying to change it to George’s face but it wasn’t working.
The rest of it was just me worrying about whether I looked too much like him and people would see the eyebrows* and just know and I Want To Hold Your Hand came on in a restaurant where I was trying to get a job, and I thought, somewhat bitterly, how hearing a Beatles’ song was different for me that anyone else. And weirdness like that.
What have I been reading lately? you may ask. Well, truthfully, I don’t know where that dream came from.
*Eyebrows…

Yet another Georgey dream– just a short little thing really.
George popped up on my back porch and I looked out the kitchen window and thought ‘Oh ripping, GEORGE HARRISON is on my back porch!’ so I joined him. Then I played Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth) for him, but as I was actually playing a piece of plastic (which, somehow, made guitar noises), my chords were going wrong, so I went in and grabbed my guitar. (In the dream, I had a new acoustic guitar, but I still preferred my good old Martin. Why I’d have two acoustics I dunno. Seems it would make more sense to have an electric and an acoustic.)
And that was sort of it. I don’t remember the rest. He was pretty quiet, didn’t say much about my playing.

I had a dream where I was Paul and was with the other Beatles in a guitar class. George had the guitar first and it was out of tune so he tuned it by bending the very flexible guitar around twisting and turning it. Then after George played he handed it to me and then I remember that I gotta play this upside down and did a terrible job.

Whenever I dream I’m playing guitar– which is quite frequently– I always make a hash of it, because I’m asleep. But I do believe my dream-guitar-playing-skills have improved since the first time I dreamt of butchering We Can Work It Out .
And speaking of Beatles dreams, the Harrisons visited my house last night… George spent the first bit tramping about our garden in knee-high wellingtons and the second bit playing with Dhani (who was about two, I think), and the whole time quite ignoring us, but Olivia was very nice.
Why does my brain keep sending me dreams where George is being discourteous? Why, brain, WHY?!

Right after John died, I had this dream that I was at a concert with Yoko. We were both worried that John was going to miss the show. We were in Balcony box stage right. I kept saying, “You know John, he’s always late.” Finally, John showed up wearing this huge black hairy coat and very long hair and long beard. In my dream understanding, I had to leave before Yoko could see him. That has always stuck with me all these years.
(I still cry about John if I think about him too much).
Funny, in 51 yrs of fanhood, only John and George have crept into my dreams on occasion. Guess maybe because John was the tough kid I admired growing up, and George was the gentle guy who told me about spirituality when I was 16. Ah well…

And the fact that I’m right handed trying to play left handed might also have something to do with it.

A while ago, I had a dream about John (not a #9 dream…) in which he was playing the cowbell on A Hard Day’s Night . In the dream, he seemed to make a point of how it was his own cowbell…

Dreamt I was at George’s wedding to Olivia, only instead of their real-life ‘crawl out of the bathroom window, sneak to registry office, get married, sneak back in through the bathroom window’ wedding, it was a big one, on a beach in Hawaii. I was wearing the Beatles t-shirt which I’ve been wearing in real life for the past fortnight.
Don’t recall much else.
