I guess the “What are you eating now?” thread took over my brain the other night. I had a dream where the word EAT in bEATles kept being emphasized audible and visually.I wish George had made an appearance in the dream.

I also had his glasses and my brother looked like Ringo.

Offline I dreamt that Dhani had a meditative garden maze set up somewhere in the US in honor of his father. I went to visit with someone, but we arrived too late in the day to see it, so we had to stay overnight and go in the morning. Unfortunately, the nearest hotel was at the top of a 90° hill. Luckily, the other person was driving because I was freaking out just sitting in the passenger seat and pressing my foot hard into the floor as if I were the one with control of the gas. We made it, but we had to swerve to avoid hitting Dhani crossing the street just at the top.
Ugh. At least the maze was worth the trip.

Offline I dreamt I was in a bookstore talking about the band with a BBF member (don’t know who), and this person asked me, “Do you think young people just don’t know about The Beatles?” And I said, “I think they just haven’t heard all the songs. They only know the same 10 songs that get played all the time. If they heard everything, they’d love them.”

Offline Last night I dreamed that a bunch of people from my high school walked onto the “old bridge” in Memphis. We took it over and no vehicles could cross the bridge. We were just sitting around talking and goofing off in general.
Of course we could see the “new bridge” and downtown Memphis.
Then, all of a sudden, we all started singing Drive My Car and dancing around wildly. I was hopping, both feet at the same time, forward as I sang.
I grew up near Memphis, but I didn’t know the Beatles during that phase of my life. Interesting mixture of my past and present in that dream.

Offline Had a weird dream that I emerged from my bed one morning and George and John were having breakfast with my best friend at the table. George offered me some cereal and then we had a jam.
George then told me he actually wrote Hey Jude and everyone was swore to secrecy to not let anyone else find out as Paul “needed a hit”. Hahahahah.

Offline This is the first Beatles dream I’ve had in a while.
In my dream I was back in my old room at my parents’ house watching tv except its the tv I have now. Anyways, the local news was on. The tv anchor kept advertising Beatles songs were going be on later the broadcast and he was really excited. He kept trying to talk about songs and remember his favorite one. It finally got to that part of the segment and he got the name of the song wrong (All My Loving ), but cued the taped of The Beatles coming to America with the song playing. Last thing I remember was yelling the title of the song, thinking the anchor was an idiot, and singing the song out loud. I didn’t wake up till several hours later, but I wonder if I was singing in my sleep.

Offline I had my first Beatles dream a couple of days ago.
I was sitting on a seat with Pattie Boyd next to me and George next to her. The strangest was that I talked with George in Hungarian and then we started to talk with Pattie in English about Hungarian towns and which ones have we visited. Actually, we was in Budapest. George was quite supercilious with her. That’s it.

Offline Well I had a lay down and I must have fallen asleep………….
I dreamt I was looking down from the sky at a trevaries… where 3 paths converged…..It was in an olde English glade.
Three men from each road met to banta and talk in trivialities. One was poor and without shoes….another dressed in black and the last a rough grave digger.
They noticed smoke coming from within the glade and sought it out.
…………At a simple fire and cooking pot sat a long haired mystic clothed completely in white. He beckoned them to sit and eat the mushrooms he had gathered from the forest. Two of the three did so greedily. The shoeless man more reluctant at first was swayed by the others.
They all fell into a deep sleep.
Sometime later they woke and the mystic asked them what it was they saw in their dreams.
The man in black was first to answer.
“I saw a sea beast with eight arms to hold you. It tended a beautiful garden under the sea…..where children swam and played and there was much merriment”
“And how about you ‘Gravedigger? Did you see Something ?”
“I did’ replied the quiet man…….”I saw a woman so beautiful…….I played a lute for her until gentle tears fell from my instrument”
“And you sir, a man so poor he is without shoes……yet I think maybe you have more dreams than any other.”
The shoeless man was so happy to hear the kind words from the mystic…….but he wasn’t sure that his dream would please him. It seemed so simple compared with what he’d heard from his new friends……
“I dreamt……I dreamt I woke up…..fell out of my bed and combed my hair. Then I must haste with all speed …….And then…. I fell into a dream, within my dream”
The mystic said that was the best dream of all.
“And what did you dream?” They asked the man in white.
“I dreamed we four became brothers……We travelled many winding paths together until we came to a great Abbey. There we became as rich as Kings. Indeed Kings we were. Not just Kings of this realm….. but of all realms……From the toppest most mountain to the farthest sea. And that long after we eventually parted and our bodies became worm meat and our bones turned to dust………The work we had created together still filled people’s lives with love and sadness and joy and.. hope.
Will you travel with me brothers?………..”

Offline I dreamed that my mom enrolled in some classes at a university I used to attend. I went with her on her first day to help her get oriented to campus. I took her to her poetry class. The poem the professor started with was Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite !
