I started reading Candy Leonard’s Beatleness, and she mentions an interesting Paul dream that fueled her research on Beatlemania:
I dreamed I got on a bus in London and saw Paul McCartney sitting there, as if waiting for me to board. He smiled at me in a way that confirmed his identity, and motioned me over to sit with him. I sat down on the empty double seat in front of him, my back to the window and my legs casually extended across both seats. I turned my head to talk with him.
We got into a spirited discussion about the impact of the Beatles, during which I expressed the opinion that much of the social change we saw in the sixties could be attributed to them. Paul was familiar with this perspective but didn’t quite accept it. I reminded him of the words on the odd little statue [on Liverpool’s Matthew Street that pays homage to the Beatles, calling them “four lads who shook the world”]. “Well, four lads who shook your world, maybe,” he responded. I pointed out that neither of these statements could be true without the other being true. Then I woke up.
She later writes:
…The world “shook” because the Beatles affected each one of us, individually.
I woke up with the realization that my background in development psychology and sociology gave me tools to understand a phenomenon that, since the age of seven, I’ve been not only observing but actively participating in and wondering about. I saw the “shook my world/shook the world” dichotomy in different terms: personal/cultural, biography/history, individual/society – and saw the same underlying concept, the same interactive process.

I dreamt that I met Paul. Disappointingly, the actual meeting wasn’t the focus of the dream, but the aftermath in which I was telling people about it and creating a scrapbook commemorating the event.

I had a dream where Paul and I had to rescue a girl from a noseless serial killer who and Thor’s hammer and wasn’t Voldemort.
That’s nothing to sneeze at…or with.

That’s a much more appropriate dream about Paul than @Ahhh Girl seems to have continually. I’ve always wondered whether Jane Asher ever bursts in on AG and Paul in any of those dreams.
I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

Is there any other way to celebrate that event?

I had a looong, wacky dream in which I visited BBF member BenRamon and hung out in the library of his college so I could look up some rare Paul photos. And while we were hanging out, we watched a new episode of Saturday Night Live. And it turned out that before he died, John had time traveled to 2014 and recorded an episode of SNL, during which he performed “Give Peace A Chance .” And at the end of the song, he went into a long tirade about how we’ve gotten so many of our perceptions about him wrong, and in particular we shouldn’t listen to anything Oasis had to say about him.
I don’t remember anything those guys had to say about John, but it was funny to me he took particular offense to them.

I went to an auditorium to hear a speech by a famous person (can’t remember who I was going to hear). Someone said that Paul McCartney was in the building. I must have looked really happy about that. An event staffer took me backstage. I looked up on a staircase and there was Paul. He looked at me and said, “Hey, we need to hang out after the speech.” I said, “Sure, where should we meet?” He said to meet him right there on the staircase. As the event staffer was showing me the way back to my seat, I hounded him to make sure he would get me back to Paul after the speech. He swore every oath under the sun that he would make sure I got back to Paul. Now, I need to dream about AFTER the speech. Hint. Hint. Sleeping part of my brain. Get busy.

@parlance Don’t listen to Oasis, so don’t know who he is, but Liam Gallagher said:
“I think I was him. He’s me now.” Claiming to be John Lennon reincarnated.
And
“John Lennon would’ve covered Oasis.”
(Edit: and seeing as he was born in 1972, the first one makes no sense.)

I dreamt that some Beatle Biblers and I were living in the 70s and we were assisting/roadie-ing for Wings. At some point, we had a conversation with Paul and Linda in their home, but I don’t remember what it was about.

Maybe I’m reincarnation of some girl that was with John
Come on nowhereman we will take you somwhere!

I guess the “What are you eating now?” thread took over my brain the other night. I had a dream where the word EAT in bEATles kept being emphasized audible and visually.
I wish George had made an appearance in the dream.
