Ahhh Girl

The most influential and important person of all time was planning a birthday party for his teenage daughter. This isn’t a man who is in the public eye. I had never heard of him. It was kind of like he was one of those “shadow” people you hear about who runs the world but no one knows who he is.

He was planning the singers he was going to get to sing for the party. There was no question about it that any person would drop whatever they were doing to come sing for this party. He decided that most of the singers would get 30 minutes to perform, but The Beatles would get a full hour. Not even death could stop John and George from performing for this event. So much for eternal peace and rest.

I think part of this dream must stem from @Expert Textpert ‘s recent comments about spiritual matters. The man planning this party was on the level of a god.

After watching that planning session, I was riding around and around in circles on my bicycle at the top of the cove where I grew up. I could see a chalk picture drawing of a section of the Sgt. Pepper‘s cover with The Beatles in their uniforms. Each time I passed the drawing on my circuit, more of the picture would appear.

Then I was watching a man singing and playing a guitar. He was an old man with thick, long white hair. After listening for a while, I realized that I was listening to the fount of all rock-n-roll. I thought to myself, this is the man that made The Beatles possible.

I dreamt I was at a music conference and was taking in a few seminars, and Paul made surprise appearances at the beginning of a couple of classes to offer words of inspiration to aspiring musicians, surprising even the instructors. Later, as I compared notes with other conference goers, I found that I’d chosen the only two classes where Paul had popped in.

Maybe he was seeking you out. Did you get to ask him questions?

There’s a point. If in anyone’s dream they meet Paul please remember to direct a few of the questions in the Questions you’d ask Paul if you could interview him thread to him and report back his replies. Thank you.

Parlance

I dreamt I was living in the early 60s, and I turned on American Bandstand to find Paul making a solo appearance. He was showing a dance made of a combination of the Twist and Mashed Potato. It was rather awkward. And he was wearing denim capris. And the dream kept going back and forth between black and white and color, as if I were simultaneously watching in the studio and on TV.

Expert Textpert

I don’t fully remember either dream, or if they were somehow one dream and were connected, but I had two dream scenarios last night, from which I awoke in the wee hours of the morning.  I think I forgot most of them because I went back to sleep.

Scene 1:  I am John Lennon , and I think Paul and George are trying to cheer me up because I am depressed.

Scene 2:  I am not John Lennon , I am myself.  George has been playing a video game of which I am the subject.

I have had several Beatles dreams, but I have never dreamed of Ringo.

I was in a large, old flat where Paul McCartney once lived. It was a bright, sunny day outside, but the heavy curtains and shades on all the window made it hazy, murky dark inside. I found an old video reel on the kitchen counter top. It was in a silver canister and labeled “Paul”. I got so excited that I might have found some old video footage of Paul that no one had ever seen or hadn’t seen in a long time.

I found a projector and loaded the film onto it. Bummer, the film was home movie footage of Paul Anka. Oh, well. “Put your head on my shoulder…” AND, I was in a flat where McCartney once lived. That’s gotta count for something.

Does anyone know of a Beatles-Anka connection?

They both are named Paul and born round the same timeish maybe
