I’ve had a couple actually. A few weeks ago I had a dream I was in a play with Ringo, and he didn’t want me to go, but I had to anyway. There were lots of curtains, and he kept following me through them. Then I went to a concert for the Beatles, but it was the Rock Band version of them, so it was all animated. 

Then this last weekend, I took a trip to Liverpool where there was a grand mansion. I went inside and it was the house where all 4 Beatles had lived. I went upstairs and there was a room dedicated to John Lennon , and I was sitting in it. It was all white with a beautiful chandleir, on the ceiling. There were many different posters and photographs of John Lennon , and a couple of the other Beatles. I remember my eyes were like flashing between images of them. Then, as I was admiring the room, Paul McCartney was coming in, and I was hiding so he wouldn’t find me and send me out.

so, finally i had my first beatles-related dream. and it was kind of weird. paul was sitting casually next to me (i think we were in a group of people, but i’m not quite sure) and suddenly i was thinking: “wait! that’s probably your only chance to ever kiss paul mccartney!” so i was more or less jumping onto him and kissed him (he didn’t struggle or try to defend himself, so i think he was quite ok with it ). but now the really weird thing about it. he was his actual age – which means he was fifty years older than me! now i am a little afraid i’m kind of perverted for having kissing dreams with old men, but it was a nice dream though, so i don’t care too much about it 😀

I had my second Beatles dream last night, also about Paul like my first dream.  In this one, it was Paul in the 80s it seemed.  I was hanging around some house with him out in the country, and Linda and some children were there too. 

At one point, I had an idea to add a couple of lines to one of his songs (“Some People Never Know”) and I mentioned it to him, and he encouraged me.  So I was thinking about what lines to add, and I wanted to make one of the rhymes be about a holiday where gifts are given, so I walked into a kitchen where Paul was and asked him if there is a British holiday at Spring time where people give gifts, and he said yeah and told me what it was (though I can’t remember what he said).

At one point, I had a headache and he handed me two blue pills, which I could see vividly as I received them into my palm.  I thanked him for the pills.

Then, still working on the lines, I went to sit on a sofa.  Paul came over to help, and he sat on top of my lap! facing away from me, and leaning his head back toward me.  I felt uncomfortable about this.  Two little daughters of his with black hair were next to us on the sofa.  The sofa seemed to be outside, in a courtyard or something.  Paul looked over to our left, and down a ways there was a large body of water, almost an ocean.  He remarked on how well some kids were doing in their motorboat.  I looked and saw a small motorboat with about four teenage boys in it, speeding away from the shore into the ocean.

I just remembered a dream I had the other night.  I had written Paul a letter (or maybe an email) about his music.  I was talking about the song “Junk”, and when he wrote me back he was all offended, because he thought I was calling one of his songs “junk” like and insult and I was like “No Paul that’s not what I meant!  The SONG ‘Junk’!”

Funny Paper

After a lifetime of having no Beatles dreams, I just had my third Paul McCartney dream last night!

In this one, he seemed to be more his current age.  The context was some area of many rooms with lots of people milling around.  He was sitting and talking, perhaps being interviewed.  The gist of what he was saying was that perhaps he could complain about this or that in his life, but that overall he was blessed to live a life where he could love his family and love his friends. 

Nice dream…

I was at normal competition. The last half of the competition was Beatles art drawings. Apparently I was evaluating them or something and…my phone woke me up. I know not that great of a Beatley dream; however, its the first I have had in while and I’m still mad that the phone woke up.

I dreamt that Paul came to one of my former jobs to discuss some work with my boss. I didn’t get to chat with him much because I was trying to be professional, but I did get to hang around taking notes, and he was there all day. And I remember we had provided vegetarian snacks, but Paul had gone vegan and we didn’t have anything he could snack on. And someone was afraid Paul would get mad, but he didn’t raise a fuss, just had his assistant run out to get him something.

Later we had dinner and drinks at my boss’ house (except I doubt it was my boss’ house in RL, as this was a palatial mansion). And Paul brought with him a sheepdog who was a descendant of Martha, and he’d taken to dressing her in cute costumes, and I spent some time playing with her.

It was a really random dream, but mostly I was struck by how vivid and pleasant it was. And later last night, I had second dream where I was telling a Paul fan about the first, which I don’t think has happened before.

OMG!  OMG!  I FINALLY had my first Beatles dream!  And I didn’t see much of them in it, so it wasn’t perfect! 

Almost every year, for our company Christmas party, our boss goes out big!  We take a trip to Jasper, Alberta which is in the Rocky Mountains (about 4 hours away) and stay at the beautiful and famous Jasper Park Lodge.  If you are curious, here is a link:  http://www.fairmont.com/jasper/  Anyway, we always get Friday off to drive out there and spend the entire weekend.  The boss pays for our rooms, dinner, drinks, everything!  It’s HEAVEN.

On Saturday nights there is a huge buffet and dance.  The groups they get there are usually pretty crappy…so this is where my dream begins!!

Some how, some way…I was in charge of hiring a better group.  I decided to hire the Beatles.  It went seemingly rather easily too.  I spoke & met with Brian and we made all the arrangements – he was SUCH a gentleman and so kind to me. He told me “the boys” would arrive at the Lodge on Friday night.  On Friday night, we saw some vans pull up and the scuttle began that the “Beatles had arrived”.  I saw them getting out of their vans and my heart was beating so fast..I was about to go out and meet them when…I woke up 🙁    Not fair!  But at least it’s a first dream!! 

Yippee!!! A nice beginning. Now, you  go back to sleep. I want to know how this concert goes.
