Since Yoko owns John’s estate and therefore his image does that mean she, and whoever inherits it afterwards, has legal ownership of his clone? Part of me would find it fascinating to see a legal battle between the tooth guy and Yoko over the John clone. I wonder if they would settle for 50% each.

Would the decision be settled in U.S. or U.K. courts? John hadn’t gotten U.S. citizenship.

Would the laws governing this be from Parliament or Congress? Do you think the two bodies could agree on a law in common?

Ahhh Girl

Last night I dreamed that John and Paul were brothers, and they had been born into a very wealthy family. In the dream they were in about their 1964 looks/phase. I was with them in a large building that had several theaters for live performances. I was their age in the dream. Both of them were required to see the same two plays, but they didn’t have to go to them at the same time. Paul and I had gone to the two plays, and were in a room that was like a restaurant with a stage. He said that he was required to sit through the speech that was about to be made, but that he could recite the damn thing in his sleep. He asked me if I would sit in the back booth with him. You couldn’t see the stage from there. We proceeded to make out during the entire speech. Second base only. Darn. After the speech, he and I were mingling with the people in the crowd. The people were all wealthy, well-dressed, and “proper”.

John walked over to me and asked if I would go to one of the plays with him. I said I would. Then he said, “I bet you don’t want to because you’ve already seen the play.” I reassured him that the play was very good, and that I would like to see it again. Paul and I just nodded at one another before I walked off with John. He told me that that same damn speech had to be given again before the plays resumed. He asked me if I would sit with him in the back booth. By now, I knew what the brothers meant when they asked a girl to sit in that booth. I said a hearty, “Yes, John.”

John slid into the booth next to the wall. I slid in beside him. We started kissing. Then all of a sudden he stopped and laid his head down on an open copy of Lewisohn’s book (deluxe edition with shiny paper) that was lying on the table in front of him. He said, “No other girls have ever been honest with me about how my kissing compares to my brother’s. Would you tell me honestly?” I truthfully and earnestly told him that his lips were a different texture, that their kissing techniques were very different, and that their kisses tasted very different, thus there was really no comparison that could be made. Both were wonderful in their own right. He could tell I was being very straightforward with him, and he thanked me. We got back to business, but then I woke up. My heart was racing and pounding very hard … and {screeching halt, cbatcu, keep this as a PG post}.

Ahhh Girl

From last night:

The dream started with a picture of George that someone had drawn with a regular pencil. It was a picture of him as he looks on the Abbey Road album cover, in walking stride. But, instead of the regular surroundings as seen on that cover, he was just surrounded by free-form shapes. As the dream progressed, he and the shapes were filled in with color starting from left to right on the page. It got 3/4 filled with color when I woke up.

When I woke up, I thought, “I couldn’t hear the music playing. It should have been accompanied by music. I guess the volume was turned down too low.” Then I remembered that my volume on my laptop was turned way down when I started to listen to some of those alternative Beatles takes that are being mentioned in another thread.

I think this picture got tangled up in my mind and caused part of the dream. Warning, this picture may bring a tear or two or more to your eyes. I shed a few when I first saw it.

I had a Beatles (well, Ringo) dream too last night! Only my second, I think.

It was only short, but I was at school looking up at the corridors on the floor above and he was stood there watching me. There was nobody else there, and Ringo was present-day Ringo. That’s all I remember. :D

I dreamed Brian Eno and Paul McCartney recorded narration for a video of two ducks “racing” in a pond. The footage was not of the ducks, but of the two recording the narration. McCartney had long hair that he had put up on top of his head and looked strangely feminine. Eno spoke in a fake French accent, doing most of the talking with McCartney interjecting an occasional “Oh yeah” or “that’s right.” Eventually they stopped making sense and began saying nonsense words and making funny sounds.

I would like to see that one. Wish you could have recorded it a-hard-days-night-john-3. Was it in color?

Yes, I always dream in color…except once when I dreamed in black and white because I learned that not everyone dreams in color and I wondered what it would be like.

I had a dream last night that one of the horrible girls in my class did a project on George for something, she knew nothing about him! And she said Dhani’s name wrong. paul-mccartney HE’S NOT CALLED DONNY!!!!

A couple of days ago I had a dream that I was going to see Paul but in this dream I apparently lived about 10 minutes from the venue. It was 15mins before the concert was meant to start and I was telling my dad “we have to go, we’ve already missed the opening act” and he kept telling me “wait a second will ya!”. I then told him I had to get the cardboard to make my poster so Paul could see it and I could meet him, he then told me “ah for feck sake, get it yourself”. So I ran to the shed got the cardboard, scribbled a message on it and we went to the concert. When we got there Paul was already 10mins into his gig and the place was packed, so I was way at the back and he couldn’t see my sign, it was awful a-hard-days-night-paul-3

I was telling my friends about that dream in school and I started crying while I was telling it, bloody realistic dreams ahdn_paul_01

^^I just finished reading the dreams posted today by the two of you today, and then looked over at the next book I am working on (yes, I’m at work today). We need to replace our damaged copy of An Introduction to the Psychology of Dreaming.

That would be a dreamy day at the movies, parlance. Popcorn, M&Ms, Coke. Let it be.

ASJ, I am sending you good vibes for sweeter dreams tonight.

Ahhh Girl

Last night I dreamed that the title of one Beatles song was 20 words long. We were all on here trying to decide if we had to write it out every time we wanted to mention it or if we could use the acronym. Then, someone threw in the suggestion that we use an abbreviated form of the acronym. I woke up before we made the decision.

Any suggestions now that you are awake?

EGSTHEMAMMNWWLBTASBR just isn’t going to work unless someone builds a macro for it. F8. THE MAM wouldn’t be a good shortened version for meaning’s sake. Nope, I can’t think of anything to do with the acronym.

So, how about the me-n-wally song.

I am definitely open to other suggestions though.

Last night I dreamed that I was stuck in China back in the 1960’s with John Lennon and two other women. We got some disguises and rehearsed our cover stories that we were going to use to try to get out. Lennon went first. He made it past the boarder guards. I went next, but I guess I wasn’t a good liar. They were dragging me off to a Chinese prison when I woke up.

This weekend I dreamed that by listening to The Beatles I began to enter into a sphere of consciousness in which John Lennon appeared to me and would communicate with me in person. I told other people and I learned that they, too, had this experience. After a while of hanging out with John, we were also joined by a young Paul. It was then I realized I had entered into a state of timelessness where The Beatles, young or old, alive or dead, were always in their prime together in harmony.

When I woke up I remembered that Yoko Ono has said in interviews that she feels John has not really left us but has moved on to a place where he is able to help mankind, and that he sometimes helps her make decisions (has anyone else heard her make remarks like this?) I also remembered that several people have claimed to have experiences with John after his death, and have transcribed songs “dictated” by him, or recorded messages that he gave them from beyond the grave.
