Do any of you lads & lasses want to chat in real time (even using a mic to speak)?
I participate on Paltalk, a chat venue, which has rooms and categories about nearly everything under the sun (including music) — except Beatles. It would be nice once in a while to chat with some Beatles enthusiasts. When I bring up the Beatles there, the interest lasts about 30 seconds… then moves on to something else.
If, say, more than two people here are interested, I can create a room there.
If not, well… I tried.

I might be willing, @Pineapple Records, but you CANNOT use Beatles Bible in its name. “Beatles Bible” is @Joe’s copyright, and there was a similar situation when someone suggested using it for another off-site discussion tool a bit back.
You would have to not be using the name “Beatles Bible Talk” for your endeavour.

Ron, that’s good to know — I might have done that; but mostly I was thinking of just using the word “Beatles” in the title (maybe the wildly exciting title “Beatles Chat”)

Hi. The Beatles Bible isn’t copyrighted (a trademark would be more apt, in any case). “The Beatles” is a trademark owned by Apple Corps, and I’m already skirting the issue by building a non-official brand around the name – hence the disclaimers on every page. They seem pretty cool about fan-related things though.
That said, the BB *is* my brand, and has been for a decade. I’ve shut down a couple of Twitter impersonators in the past, as it’s fairly easy to prove that I’ve been using this identity across a range of services.
That’s not really relevant to this, but as a matter of good faith I would ask you to not use the BB for any third-party endeavours. Go for a generic Beatles chat thing, though – it sounds good!

Yeah, I meant to put copyright in quote marks, “copyright”, because I couldn’t think of the right word, but forgot.

Thanks Joe and Ron. My main intention is to just chat with some Beatles Biblers now and again. Secondarily, that it would be nice to get some publicity about BB by visitors to the chat room hearing us chat about it. But of course we’ll keep the mention of “Beatles Bible” strictly personal, not “offiicial”.
If it ever gets Off The Ground , that is…
