Sheer genius on the part the Liverpool city council!! Claim John Lennon was in the building a lot and some gullible schmuck will pay top dollar for it.
If I were a Liverpool realtor, I would include in every description of every home I am selling, “John Lennon walked by this house as a child!”. Or, “John Lennon peed in the shrubbery behind this house!”. Who would be able to refute it?

Offline I bet another famous person from Liverpool used it- maybe they should ask Paul to see if he and John turned up one day when not playing in the Cavern. Would add on a few extra 0’s to the price.

Julien’s Auctions have put up the catalogue for the “Property From The Collection of Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach” auction that will take place on 3 December on their website. 1367 lots of Ringo’s stuff to look through.
In among the Beatles stuff is the White Album No. 0000001, long believed to have nabbed by John (including by Paul):

Offline Ringo ended up with a lot of stuff! I knew he had the guitars (and a lot of nice ones), but selling drumkits too, like the Concert For George kit (did he just get a new one for different occasions or something?!) !
Best garage sale item: a vintage British telephone booth!
