What Beatlemania would have looked like on Twitter, based on actual One Direction fan tweets.

I was trolling around cracked when I found this comment about one of Paul’s works
Fun Fact- in the song Freedom Paul McCartney says he’s talking about freedom but actually he is singing about it. The More You Know.

Would have thrown the McLennoners into a tizz if Paul had answered John with Sex as he did with Beatles. Fun clip tho.
He said something other than the word sex in that clip? Good catch, mmm. Guess I need to rewind and watch it again more objectively. I guess I got a little overwhelmed the first time through
Thank you, LHL.

^ Haha, yeah That video’s funny. It’s good to see an interviewer actually doing something slightly fun with him, rather than the same boring line-up of questions (which he’s either already answered, or he never will).
”Paul McCartney ? Sex.” How does that work?

There was a saying among Duran Duran fans about that other bassist, John Taylor, that read “John Taylor IS sex,” that still gets quoted to this day. I think maybe a fan held it up during a concert in the 80s, and that’s what this immediately reminded me of.

Probably not John Taylor directly, but more the concept.parlance
Ah, got you. You’re probably right (and I suppose I’d just have to agree, too).

Paul McCartney IS sex.
Look at him.
He can’t even resist himself.
