As for my favourite non-Beatles bands and artists, my second favourite band, trailing the Beatles about 29,000 light-years behind, is Pink Floyd. I suppose third place would go to the Dala Girls.
As for the solo Beatles (coughcough), I view their music as more of a non-Beatles extension of the Beatles than separate artists altogether.
I also enjoy various instrumental/New Age-type music, but the only artist of that sort I really follow is George Winston.

Can’t remember if i have or not and not trawling thru 24 pages to find out.
Yip, Beatles are me favourite band (and that encompasses the solo work so i dont have to start listing them). They are very much part of my being as have been a fan for nearly 30 years. Second is Kendall Payne and then a good distance separates her with Buddy Holly and Emmylou Harris (ignoring the mid 80’s up to ‘Wrecking Ball’ period which is ). After that it starts to get into some very good albums by very good singers and then its the odd song here and there.

My CD rack has everything from Mozart to Metallica but The Beatles are far and away my favorites.
Five years on, nothing has changed.

A quick time passed alteration is required to the above since I found it in a search. It’s now Beatles (encompassing solo), Kendall Payne and Emmylou Harris and then a huge gap before Buddy Holly and then the rest. I’m now getting into the 80’s and early 90’s period as well.

No, I can’t stand the noise that those youngsters from Liverpool make. I just have 6000+ posts on a Beatles forum because I like websites that start with the letter B.

Um…
Well…
As a matter of fact…
it’s just possible that Pink Floyd have caught up… and then some... with the Beatles.
I am sorry to have disappointed you

Well considering that over half of my Library is comprised of The Beatles/Solo work + The Rutles + Klaatu(A band I only got into because of the fact people thought that they were the Beatles at one point)/Solo work, I’d say I decently like the Beatles.

They’re not really my favourite anymore. I still love and appreciate them, but I don’t feel the need to listen to them because I’ve heard it all before.
I find so much new in their songs to hear all the time. Different life events change the way I hear the songs. I wonder when I will get to the point you are now.

I mentioned ALL my favorite bands/artists in my introductory post, but out of them, my top 3 are The Beatles, The Beach Boys and The Stones (especially the years Brian Jones was there.) I’d quite like to get into Dylan, Pink Floyd, Clapton (as well as The Yardbirds and Cream) and Hendrix someday…

I don’t think you will. Different people listen to music differently; some people get tired of hearing the same old stuff. I’ve never understood that myself.
