My youngest daughter was a big fan of Brand New, New Found Glory, and other modern punk bands. She had been a casual fan of the Beatles for a while, being somewhat familiar with them. The movie Across The Universe got her attention. Then she got The Beatles: Rock Band for her birthday last Octoberand became absolutely obsessed with the Beatles. Her boyfriend was pretty much clueless about the Beatles but had played Rockband 2 quite a bit and is very good at it. He started playing TBRB and was also amazed by the songs.
My daughteradmits she never was aware of the depth and inventiveness of the Beatles’ later work. She’d watched Yellow Submarine when she was little and enjoyed it, but songs like “Eleanor Rigby ” and “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds ” kind of went over her head, and “Nowhere Man ” just kind of creeped her out. As a young woman, she’s wowed by these same songs.
She went with us to the McCartney concert in Miami and was blown away by it.
The Beatles are being adopted by a whole new generation of fans.

Hello. I joined about a month ago, but I was a little inactive. I've decided to rise up and introduce myself. I'm LifeRaider, and I'm one of the few teenagers in the world who likes The Beatles. Most people in my school hate them, and I can't do anything to change their mind. They think that they belong in jail because they took drugs. Who DIDN'T do drugs in the 60's? If they belonged in jail for drug use, most of the greatest bands of the 70's and 80's would be in jail, too. Anyway, most music is influenced greatly by The Beatles.
In short, I'm a teenage Beatle fan in a town of teenage Beatle haters. I hope I stay on this forum for a long time.
Ello LifeRaider! Nice to have you on the forum!I, too, am a teenage UBER-Beatle fan. But at my school, everyone respects the Beatles and their music ever since I came along and taught them that the Beatles are absolutley AH-MAZING!
Anyways, how old are you? I'm 13, the youngest fan on the forum. And the reason I ask is because I have been searching for anyone below my age. I feel so kiddish on this site being the youngest…
We are abuot the same age but I am a little younger than you, and yes I feel your pain. But we stand for the beatle loving youth!

Darn, I don't want to lose my title! But I'm happy there are other 13-year olds on this site. I felt lonely a few months ago being the only one…
Anyways, what month were you born? Let's see if there is anyone younger than me..
December!

Do the teen Beatles-Biblers agree with me that it’s amazing and unique that teens in 2014 would be fans in such large numbers of a band that started over 50 years ago…!!!?
There’s no other band in history that has that kind of enduring following among every age group; or am I wrong?
