I didn’t really know where to put this, but how do the fellow residents here think about Wings, Plastic Ono Band, The All-Starr Band, The Travelling Wiburys, and other things of that sort? I’m going through Paul’s discography currently and getting bigger into Wings, so I wanted to know how other devoted beatlemaniacs felt about these bands. Any opinions anyone’d like to share?

I have 0 interest in their solo projects/bands/albums. I mean, i listened to a few solo albums by each of them but never got into them really. When they were together they were the best, very innovative. But when they split they dissolved among all the others bands/artist imho.
The only albums that i like, enjoy, and listen to are Imagine and Plastic Ono Band.

I got way into their solo stuff in high school. I honestly love most of it. I’ll agree it isn’t as innovative and standoutish as their stuff as a band, but there’s nothing wrong with that. I think it’s nice enjoyable music to listen to.

I got into Paul’s solo stuff through this video:
I’m watching this one tonight, and hoping it will do the same for John’s music for me:
I’m confident that he’ll do George and Ringo’s careers too, given things he’s said in other videos.

RubeMy hot take is that after the Beatles split they went down the paths of spiritualism, solipsism, alcoholism, and Paul McCartney
