nailed it, impressive for being live. Sound quality also pretty good for at a gig.  Sounds like some production cleanup was done… less reverb would help the vocal sound less distant.
But, bottom line…damn fine.

This is a lovely thread, I’m looking forward to going through the previous 28 pages! Just dropping in with my piano cover of Sgt Pepper . A few wee slips but I was too lazy to do another take

cool… this brings out a lot of the arrangement elements.  I wonder: Was this from sheet music, or did you pick out the parts by ear?  Either way, not at all easy.

Post #597 is still stuck in moderation after 2 weeks. Also, any ideas for covers that I should do.

What about I Dig A Pony ? (I just realised that was the third suggestion from Let It Be in a row… that wasn’t on purpose, I swear!a-hard-days-night-george-10)

Or maybe Dear Prudence ?

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Bad Sound quality, as I recorded next to a grand piano with an iphone, but I was liking the way I sounded so I decided to try a few takes.

Fastersound:

“Oh My Love” very lovely, fabulous & meticulously arranged piece.  Vocals sound like they need to be turned up in the mix.

I Will ”  Again, very well-reproduced arrangement.  Good job making the vocal notes.

Those arrangements so good, you could market them for karaoke purposes… or the full recordings for commerical purposes for folks who don’t want pay the full amount for the orginal Beatles’ versions.

Well, here’s our cover of Hey Jude for the 50th anniversary. I wrote the pain we went through in the description ^^.

Tbf we’re pretty proud of this cover and we spent so much time on it for stupid reasons… We’re not tenors so it was a bit hard to sing everything ;-;

Hope you enjoy it ^^

{description}
Hey Jude , this wonderful and timeless song has been released 50 years ago today in the UK, on august 30th 1968.

To celebrate this event, we made a cover that we’re really proud of.

We recorded most of it in a flat with neighbours all around, wondering what the hell was going on with those “nananana”.

We recorded the vocals and the harmonies.
Then we lost everything.

So we recorded them again. Then the piano, the guitar and the tambourine.

Then the coda.

Which we also lost.

So we had to do it all over again, screaming at the toppermost of our lungs.

That was one hell of a journey and a very peculiar experience.

The video also contains a little summary of our old and previous experiences.

Many many thanks to Galeazzo Frudua whose channel is one of the most helpful in term of Beatles accuracy : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfQm

The drums, the bass and the strings were found on JamKazam : https://www.jamkazam.com

And long live The Beatles !

P. S. : Wario, Waluigi, Mario and Luigi were invited for the coda.

Sounding good there @ThatAlan, you’re right to be proud of it! Admire your perseverence and wow, ouch, poor neighbours. a-hard-days-night-john-6

Hi Beatles Fans!

I must admit I am new to Forums so I hope I’m doing everything correctly here… I read the rules before joining and from what I can see it is ok to tell you about my YouTube channel?

I have just started it up and I have been getting a few views but nothing much so my wife advised I hop onto the Beatles forums and discuss with people/take requests! I hope this is allowed and if there is another place I should be posting this then I can do so no problem!

Here is the link to my page – many thanks everybody!
