I need to know what song and what key, tempo, etc to record my track, or sing over a drum pattern.
I dont’n know what I must do, can yo help me, please?

@alabamaa Any White Album song in the original key and tempo would be good. We don’t have any drum tracks ready yet, but if you can do rhythm guitar on a song others can add parts to that.
I have access to drums for a while, although I’ll have to find a bass pedal. If you PM me what song you’d like to sing/play on, maybe I could get the drum part together.

EDIT. I have no time because my job to record all intruments on The Ballad Of John And Yoko and i decided take karaokes from utube and then to do the covers…
I already took 4 of them , let them in, coming up, The Ballad Of John And Yoko and Maybe I’m amazed, only one Beatles song…hope you don’t care. In this week I thing could record one of them. I play guitar and piano but so bad…! Again, sorry for my english grammar

Of course, no problem!!, I’d like listen to others singing, and to do covers. In my last post I edited it and wrote about my bad playing instruments.

Offline Eyy, Yesterday I recorded and uploaded to soundcloud a cover of ” You Never Give Me Your Money “only voice till “nowhere to go” and Today recorded “One sweet dream” part. Still I must to record vocals after “nowhere to go”
To record “Out of college” part I used “telephone” efect of Garageband and for ” One sweet dream…” Part used “dreamy” efect of Garageband too.
What a song! Love it!! I feel is one of the favs!!

Offline Haven’t done a cover in a while! After reading through the Lady Madonna song thread I decided to cover that!

This song was deeper and more in my range than Oh Yoko!, so my voice was lower and more in tune. And the main vocals do have a bit of an effect on them to try and get the tinnyish sound Paul’s voice had. I can post it without the effect if you want to compare, but I think it’s mostly compression.

I’m not so keen on any of my vocals, but I also thought the harmonies came out well. Maybe I shouldn’t have put that effect on the main vocals…
For the ‘bass,’ it’s actually my guitar because I don’t have a bass. I just recorded the bass part I figured out, lowered it an octave and it worked really well!
