So I was at my uncle’s wedding today. They arranged for a traditional Irish country band to play (both families hark back to Ireland) consisting of four instruments – accordion, country guitar, fiddle and banjo. I just so happened to bring my guitar with me today and they noticed. They subsequently invited me to play any song with them.
Since it was a wedding, I chose to play I Will before a crowd af about a hundred. I invited the band to improvise along with me, and they did. After performing and receiving a large round of applause, I caved to everyone’s demands to perform an encore. I asked the band to be a little more prominent this time for that sense of uniqueness. And everybody loved it, including me.
Both of my performances were recorded. I can’t get them just yet but I’ll upload the best ASAP.

I appreciate, Mr. Kite. Some songs are very very hard to sing, especially Paul parts and I had to record a few times those ones.
The Ballad Of John And Yoko will be next one I’ll try to cover and this time want to add drum pattern but I don’t know what tempo is…Does anyone know which is the tempo, or any way to discover it? Thanks

^ Tempo is the speed of the song. I findthe tempo by hearing the drums. Some songs may change tempo so watch out for that. The tempo is made up of Beats per Minutes and something like 100 beats per minute is slow while 200 is very fast

Sure. This is how to insert a link in a message. this is great if you want to post a youtube video without embedding it.
1. Write a text that will be your link. Example “This is my video”
2. Highlight the text.
3. You will see in the icons of top, click on the icon with the “link”. (The text must be highlighted so you can click on it)
4. A little window pops up. Paste the url from the webpage (or in this case, the youtube link)
5. And that’s it.
Beautiful rendition, and I love the camera angle. It shows your guitar prowess well! Rock on, mate!

Here’s two of mine. All instruments are me except the singer. Some weak lead on my part in the end of Come Together , but I was really tired late at night. And, I had just learned Cry Baby Cry right before I recorded it. Enjoy

For a while now I have been working on a classical guitar arrangement of Here There And Everywhere
The reason it’s taken me so long to post on here is partly laziness, and partly the fact I couldn’t decide whether to play it on a classical guitar or my Gretsch. It’s clearly for classical, but nylon strings only sound good with long nails, and I find it to be so uncomforatable to let my nails grow out long enough. So I decided to play it on my Gretsch. In this version, I shortened the song a bit as you’ll hear. (sorry about the sound quality.)

Interesting interpretation, Mimi; it puts me in mind of the classical guitarist Marco Pereira (he used nylon). I never thought of Here, There And Everywhere done like a classical guitar piece — but it works!

I think I’m going to do a few more like this (Beatles songs on classical guitar) Any ideas/requests?
