Don’t know…A Taste Of Honey ? Besame Mucho ? Los Paranoias?
I love A Taste Of Honey , but John called it a “waste of money” because it really wasn’t in their style so I can see why John and others dislike it. but I think it’s an alright song. I haven’t really given Los paranoias a good listen, however, I should at some point. but, I love Besame Mucho . it’s a fun romantic rocker with a bit of classical guitar thrown in for the guitar hook. I’m very curious, textpert, why do dislike it?
It just sounds like something your grandmother would love.

haha, I actually listen to Beatles music with my grandmother. once every month or two we get together and play board games while I have my Spotify playlist of the whole Beatles catalogue from please, please me up to Abbey Road and Past Masters and she absolutely loves it. and before that, the only Beatles songs she heard was let it be and maybe Here Comes The Sun . one time she asked “this music is really good. when did this come out? where was i when this came out?”

For the lyrics
I used to think of no one else
But you were just the same
You didn’t even think of me
As someone with a name
alone, ‘What Goes On ‘ is a great song for me. I also love George’s guitar playing.

I think he was praising ‘No Reply ‘.
Who can find any complaint against ‘No Reply ‘!?

Oh, oops. I thought they were saying that What Goes On is similar to No Reply in that it is bad, which is doubly untrue because WGO is lovely so my apologies for the misunderstanding.

Most certainly not me.

“The Long And Winding Road “, now and for all eternity.
lol “eternity”
I’ve long since come around to “winding”; opinions do acquire nuance …and especially since viewing lib several times in the intervening six years, I’ve come to appreciate the craftsmanship of Paul. I now consider it a very good Paul McCartney song; and a very good “Paul backed with the other Beatles plus Billy” track, and I much prefer it to LIB itself in recent times. (again lol eternity).
However, it’s still one of the least-Beatlish group efforts in the canon, particularly the wall of sound version. And that track’s role in finishing off the band should condemn it to bottom of some kind of list.
Really, “Love Me Do ” is probably, for me, the worst; just a lazy half-song. (And still a pretty good record, one with tons more rockin’ Beatles spirit than “Long Windy”)

Quite surprised how many people have said Love Me Do , the lyrics are a bit meh but it still a song I will enjoy listening to from time to time. Songs I don’t enjoy off the top of my head, Good Day Sunshine and this may not be popular but I am not a big fan of Nowhere Man

I’m with you on the first one. It’s definitely not the worst Beatles song for me but there’s very little I find worthwhile about it, especially surrounded by the greatness of Revolver . As for Nowhere Man , it definitely has its detractors but as a whole it’s pretty beloved, I think.
I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

nah. Maybe not their best but that’s one of John’s best vocals.

I’m sure this will go down well…. not.
I really dislike We Can Work It Out . Not John’s middle 8′ I think that’s great. But, the verses are total arrogant hogwash. See it my way and everything’s alright; see it your way and it’s all over. However, as long as you see it my way, We Can Work It Out .
What?
I think my opinion of it was also affected by kids at school referring to it as the “Constipated Mathematician” song. Think about it.

We Can Work It Out is one of my favorites. I’ve never viewed the lyrics as arrogant but rather the expression of someone’s frustration at not being heard or that the other person’s mind was made up & they refused to see his side of things. When I grew up & started reading tons of Beatles’ bios, I got the impression this was probably about a quarrel he had with Jane Asher. And knowing about his tendency to wander in that relationship, she may have had good reason to have her mind made up. And the middle eight is awesome (and apparently not just all John – Paul said it was George who suggested the 3/4 time signature, which is a huge part of its awesomeness). Also dig the harmonium. That said, I’m not trying to convince anyone that their opinion is “wrong.” It’s all totally subjective and it’s interesting to hear people’s likes and dislikes.
As for worst, I really don’t like Maxwell’s Silver Hammer . I just think it’s overproduced and overly twee. I actually like a lot of Paul’s “granny music,” but there’s a line where it crosses over into too much preciousness.
I also dislike Piggies . I can’t believe they chose this one over Not Guilty .
Only A Northern Song is a tuneless bore and a waste.
Run For Your Life is creepy.

It’s funny because i have the opposite opinion on those songs:
We Can Work It Out isn’t bad but it definitely falls short when compared to Rubber Soul (as well as it’s B-side Day Tripper ).*
Maxwell’s Silver Hammer is easily my favorite song off Abbey Road (and possibly even one of my favorite Beatles songs ever) although i can understand why some would hate it. As a fan of dark humor, i love how it’s an upbeat pop tune about a serial killer.
Piggies is mediocre but Chris Thomas’s harpsichord playing definitely saves it for me.
Only A Northern Song is probably my favorite pre-White Album George song and i love Paul’s “bad” trumpet playing.
Run For Your Life is another one of those songs i like because of the dark humor, although with songs like Nowhere Man and The Word , it’s definitely not the best song off Rubber Soul .
If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.
