I know it’s subjective but wow I think She’s A Woman & Lovely Rita are great songs.

I love its childlike naivety with its lyrics.
Listening to a lot of 60’s guff I feel many bands and artists of the time could have written such a song and released it as one of their bigger mediocre efforts so am thankful that the Beatles never did record it for release. Its a great demo, nothing more.

I haven’t read every page but I’m surely not the first to mention Maxwell’s Silver Hammer ? I find the song irritating and I can understand how it might have tipped Lennon over the edge. I was going to post this in the “Paul’s Granny S**t” thread as I’m sure it’s one that Lennon meant.
Couldn’t agree more. My least favorite, including those annoying synth noises…imagine running through all those takes of this thing, it’s a wonder no one took Mal’s hammer and anvil and used them like Maxwell did.

I’ve probably posted this somewhere before, but my least favorite song by The Beatles is Dizzy Miss Lizzy . That song really annoys me. I can’t listen to it unless I’m listening to Help ! straight through, and when I do that, it’s hard to get through that song.

I’d probably say the “worst” Beatles songs (Excluding covers) are
Back In The U.S.S.R.
You’re Going To Lose That Girl
Including Covers
Money (That’s What I Want)

Awwww…. *sniffles* I love all of these. Welcome to the forum, by the way! Some of you upthread listed songs I love. But there are memories attached to many of them, happy ones, so I can’t hate on them.
I can’t actually pick a “worst” song, because Beatles. There are songs I like more than others, but it’s really hard. If my hand were forced though, I’d concur with “Dizzy Miss Lizzy “.

This seems more like a best Beatles songs list than a worst one, especially considering you’re the first guy I’ve ever meet who considers You’re Going To Lose That Girl (a really good song that greatly showcases tri-harmonies by John, Paul, and George, along with having a great solo performed by George on his Strat) among the worst of Beatles songs. Well then, I guess I should list my least favorites now, shall I.
Here goes nothing:
Anything released before Love Me Do
The Beatles Story
Any solo material released after the 70’s or any Ringo solo material (great drummer, but sucks at singing)

I don’t really have any songs that I dislike, but I guess ones that I skip the most can count as “worst” for me.
Which duly include:
Yep, that’s about right.

Hi, I’m new here, and it’s kind of funny that my first post is about the songs I DON’T like, lolz, given how much I adore The Beatles.
It used to be that I didn’t like the very early stuff, but now I’ve changed my mind and can’t get enough of it. I’ve even been singing “In Spite Of All The Danger ” for two days.
So , hmmm.
“It’s Only Love .” I can put up with it, but I don’t like the way the tremolo guitar came out. The lyrics are weak and it just doesn’t hang together. Still, I can sing along with gusto when I’m doing chores and have Rubber Soul on in the background.
I don’t like “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road” because I find it repetitive and, well, crass. Vulgar is okay if it’s clever-vulgar, but this ain’t.
And of course…”Maxwell’s Silver Hammer .” What else? Listen, you’ll search long and hard to find a bigger Paul McCartney fan than I am, but this song…I dunno what Paul was smoking, but it wasn’t the good stuff. Too bad because if it wasn’t about an unrepentant serial killer, the storytelling part is rather clever.

I can’t say I dislike a single Beatles song, but Yellow Submarine can get on my nerves if played too many times. And if we count covers, I tend to skip over Act Naturally when it comes up. Sorry, Ringo!

The Beatles Story? I don’t know what that is, but it isn’t a Beatles song. Perhaps you misunderstood the goal of this topic?

Would it help my chances to win if my answer to the question for this thread were “any song Paul didn’t sing lead on”?
Gosh, even I can’t say that for real.

Well, my least favourite song is, in fact, one Paul didn’t sing lead on. Actually, I don’t think he appears on it at all, or does he? Then again, it isn’t a song, either…
