This is probably old news to the super Beatles fans,

I just realized that one line in the lyrics indicates that the nameless person John is speaking to in the song is an “other woman” that he’s thinking of doing something with but obviously feels conflicted, and the song is working out that conflict — apparently with the virtuous conclusion that he will leave that other woman and go back to his main woman.

“I got no business being here with you… [pregnant pause] …this way.”

(A funny coda if it were a music video would be to have at the end, the other woman sitting there buffing her nails saying, “Well, stop yammering and get the f outta here already then”)
