1966. Mankovitz colourised them, so they were originally black and white.
You all will have read that Dave Dee is no longer with us. But Mickey and Titch and I would like to carry on the good work that's always gone down in number two.

I'm a little late on this, but welcome!
I've never considered One After 909 for play at a funeral, but why not?
Maybe you could have 910 stenciled on the outside of your coffin/urn.

CCC(That's what I'm calling you, because I really don't want to have to type out “CoolCherryCream” every time I address you): You have successfully gotten “Savoy Truffle ” stuck in my head.
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

C3?
…and nice apple tart.
BOT: I've been giving this one some thought. I forget what my original answer to this question was – doesn't matter. If I'm not mistaken (I am too lazy to look back) I believe it was skye who said “none” because she did not want mourners associating Beatles songs with her death afterward (paraphrasing here). I did give that some thought. Then I thought, “it's my funeral dammit – if I want Beatles music, then Let It Be .”
When my sister-in-law's mother passed away, her funeral featured Elvis songs playing softly in the background. I was not able to attend, but my mother said it was actually done quite nicely. I may lean toward having something similar with Beatles tunes.
Since I can't decide, perhaps I'd better start thinking about immortality.

There's actually a Facebook “like” page called “Not Dying. Ever.” You know, back from the days when “like” pages had witty names so your news feed would say “MeanMrs.Mustard likes Not Dying. Ever.” Nowadays, like pages have names that are really long and awkward, so it would say “MeanMrs.Mustard likes I'd join your group, but there are so many misspellings in the title, I'd be ashamed to have it on my profile.”
Maybe I will continue the Zig tradition and call her C³. It's fun to click on that “omega” button.

So I'm adding to my list with Stairway to Heaven and In My Time of Dying. Neither song really be played a funeral (ok maybe Stairway), but it's my funeral. People will have to sit through Robert Plant's excessive orgasm noises while watching me lay in a coffin. Huzzah!
Well we all shine on like the moon, the stars, and the sun.

Everyone who will be at my funeral will already associate me with The Beatles, so I’m sure they’ll expect some of their music there.

For my funeral I think either Yellow Submarine or Octopus's Garden would be my choice. They are just childish enough to be awesome.

“Good Night ”
“Let It Be ” (Across The Universe version)
“Isolation “
“Till There Was You ” (Uh…name of the first piece of writing I ever wrote, since the song's pretty, too)
“I'll Be Back”
No, I'm kidding about the last one. I was playing one of those play list games, and that came up 😀
I salute the lady who screamed "I love you Paul!" at a tribute band's concert.

Really? I think that would be an awesome song to play at a funeral.
