At least it is a possibility for you. My friend I tried to convert, stated that she will never become a Beatles fan. It made me sad 🙁 Good luck!

“I'll Follow The Sun”, “I've Just Seen A Face” and “For No One “, if it counts.

I have two to add to your deliberations. The first is “If I Fell “, surely one of Johns most beautiful melodies most ably abetted by Pauls magnificent harmony. The second is “There's A Place” which I think is the real standout song on their debut. There is something about that song, in context it sounds like the future happening now, and , in my opinion, it was the signpost that there was something really special happening here.

BeatleMania99, I think this thread exists somewhere on this site; but maybe not.
Once upon a time, there was a clear, hands-down winner to this question – at least in the U.S.: “Hey Bulldog .”
It appeared in the Yellow Submarine album, arguably their worst (American) release. There were all of 4 new songs, and the rest were “old” songs or uninteresting orchestral music.
The new songs were by and large throw-aways, as the Beatles had no interest in a Beatle cartoon.
Few people bought the album, and therefore few people heard the song.
In the US, it wasn't even in the movie.
Now of course, every Beatle song has an equal chance of being heard, so the playing field has been leveled.
The runner up would be “Things We Said Today ,” and for essentially the same reason: in the U.S. it only appeared on the album Something New (an ironic title considering there was hardly anything new – and for that reason was never a major seller compared to other Beatle releases).

There are a few of these threads, one being Unbelievably Underrated Beatles Song. Others include albums, songs on certain albums (pepper, Abbey Road , revolver), overrated and underrated bands.

I'm pretty sure “Good Night ” (the final track for The White Album ) should be placed at no. 1 here.

Continuing my trek through Past Masters Vol. 2, I came across, “Old Brown Shoe “. I’ll put that at the same level of under-rated as Don’t Let Me Down “. You never hear them or about them much, but when you do, you’re like, “Wow! Why weren’t these big hits?!!?”
I agree, this song is just amazing especially the guitar solo in the middle! Another underated one on Past Masters by george is The Inner Light . Mother Natures son is also incredibly underated, I especially like the introduction on that one.
"Sleep pretty darling do not cry"

A few that come to mind..
- There’s a Place
- Maxwell’s Silver Hammer
- Cry Baby Cry
- I Don’t Want To Spoil The Party
- I’ll Follow The Sun
- Your Mother Should Know
- She’s A Woman
- Wait
- She’s Leaving Home
- Lovely Rita
- I Wanna Be Your Man
- Hey Bulldog
I tend to listen to the most popular and known ones less (even though some I really love, like “Yesterday “… I almost melted to the floor when he played it at the concert) because I’ve heard them so much more over the years, being singles.
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

“Hey Bulldog “ hands down.
It was more than under-rated; it was UNKNOWN for 40 or so years
1) It appeared on the original Yellow Submarine album – an album few people bought due to all the uninteresting incidental orchestral music
2) The song (and corresponding sequence) were cut out of the American version of the Yellow Submarine movie.
Result: a cult song known to just a few people (relatively speaking) until the re-release of the album, now with all the good stuff on it, and then more recently Rock Band.

I agree. Once you hear that riff, you can’t ignore it
I don’t know if it’s really underrated, but I would say The Fool On The Hill , it’s such a great song.
And Love You To : am I the only one who can listen to it 4-5 times in a row? (probably yes)
