Probably posted these before but hey-ho.Two Indian Tracks.
Within You, Without You – a masterpiece that should be given a standing ovation not met with the derision it gets from some. Not sure of its the Indian flavour, the lyrics or just because its George but the whole damn thing is f*****g amazing, with the instrumental orchestral passage easily being one of the best things the Beatles ever put on tape. East meets West and blows some walls down. Yet its placed by many below When I’m 64. Seriously!!!!
Love You To – Often overlooked in favour of Taxman (my least favourite of George’s trio) but for me is far superior and when Revolver really kicks in and off. The intro always gives me the impression of hesitancy, a bit of casual riffing whilst deciding what to do: “should we be doing this?, maybe. Really?, erm, well?, hmm, yeah ok!, sure?, erm. . ., oh f**k it and screw them, lets go.” And off it goes at full speed with no looking back, stopping or second thoughts. The lyrics are great as is George’s vocal as well.
I really do love the Indian tracks that George contributed.
I really don’t understand the hate that the Indian tracks seem to get. Essential listening for fans of psychedelic music in my opinion.

For me (a newbie here so forgive me if these have been stated):
- Not A Second Time (love the lyrics on that one)
- I Me Mine (that song rocks!)
- Old Brown Shoe –particular the part when George sings “If I grow up I’ll be a singer…”
Ooh I love that part of Old Brown Shoe ! The bassline in that part is awesome.

I’ve had She Said She Said stuck in me head. Not sure if it is underrated or not, but it’s one I didn’t really recall much of until last year.

“She Said” was my favourite Beatles song for several years back in the ’90s, and still has a powerful hold on me.

She Said She Said was on that itunes only playlist release back whenever it was which would probably have brought it to the attention of more folk but i’d say its still largely underrated.
One of the tracks on Revolver that gives the album so much balls rocking-wise.

I had that stuck in my head for a week once. The only Beatley song I can think of that has the same stick in head potential is Sing The Changes (which, now that I think of it, would be incredible on the Infinite Jukebox)

Long, Long, Long is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful songs ever. Nobody really seems to notice it, but it’s one of my favourites from the White Album .

I double that. I might or might have not said the same a few pages back, so I’m sorry if I come out to repeat myself. Glad to know someone agrees with me.
I Will is one of my favorites as well, @Mimi.
Another one I love is I Me Mine . I have yet to come across a Beatles fan who loves it, but I do have a friend who is not a big Beatles fan, she has it on repeat almost constantly nevertheless.
