Has “Twist And Shout ” take two from the Please Please Me sessions been bootlegged? I’d love to hear it. I’m surprised there WAS a second take, because the session’s time was nearly over, John’s voice was practically gone, and take one is so extraordinary.

No, it’s never appeared and probably never will as a lot of the reels for the ‘PPM ‘ and ‘WTB’ sessions are lost/missing/scrapped and take 2 of ‘TaS’ is one such reel. What we have available on the bootlegs (and on Apple’s official 1963 Bootleg album) is pretty much what survives of the outtakes.
