I think it sounds like ‘never could be any other way’ but I know about the ‘supermen’ stuff, which,if true,is presumably in reference to Alistair Crowley, who’s obviously on the cover a few times.
What’s interesting, Crowley died in 1947,Pepper was released in 1967, and McCartney sings ‘it was 20 years ago today, that Sgt Pepper taught the band to play’. Is Crowley ‘Sgt Pepper ‘?

Has anyone in the history of the world ever slowly turned down the volume on their turntable once the gibberish is playing? No. Everyone picks up the tone arm, ending it abruptly.
Let’s hope the next time Pepper is issued, the gibberish comes to a sudden stop. That will reproduce the effect of listening to it in 1967 better than having it fade out.
Obsessive? Absolutely. It’s the little things that count.

I propose having it loop for twenty minutes before stopping.

See, I hear “I never could see any other”.And do you listen a lot to the Inner Groove backwards, @The Hippie Chick?
The obscene version is only heard when played backwards.
Backwards I hear “We’re talking about you Superman.”
