So, here we are, Forumpudlians, the second part of the 2020 non-Canon Poll.
This part covers 91 recordings made between 1964 (the conquering of America and the world) and August 1966 (the end of touring).
All releases are official and can be found on The Beatles’ Story, Live at the Hollywood Bowl, Anthology 1 & 2 (along with the Real Love single), the two volumes of BBC recordings, and two Christmas fan-club flexis.
The voting list is alphabetical (‘A’ and ‘The’ at the beginning of a title is ignored; eg. ‘A Hard Day’s Night ‘ appears under H). The number in brackets after each title indicates where it falls chronologically.
The list contains the recording details for each title, so will need referencing…

Voting is now open, and will remain open until 00:00 GMT 14 May (I do not intend to extend voting on this part of the poll).
The voting form can be found here.
While less than half the length of Part One, I’m happy to PM anyone a copy of the title list should that be of use to note your scores before you transfer them to the voting form.
Any questions about any of the material included, feel free to ask. Someone here is sure to know (or maybe point to somewhere that could help via PM).

Apologies all. There was an error in the poll list. It should have been 92 songs, not 91.
I’ve been working off my original 2017 list to do this poll from, and it seems it was missed back then.
@Ahhh Girl asked me if I could do her a version of the list based on the albums/singles they appear on after the first part of the poll. I done the same today for part two for her, and to my horror realised the Blackpool Night Out version of Ticket To Ride was missing from the 2017 poll and so was missing from this poll.
It has been corrected.
And the first thing I’ll be doing with the third part of the poll is putting the 2017 list into album order to double-check nothing else was missed back then.
@Dingle Lad

@Dingle Lad
I feel more embarrassed than you do. One of the reasons I voted so quick was that I listened to most of this in the past week. So I heard the Blackpool TTR and it didn’t even register, not even when I made my spreadsheet.
What is happening? And tell me how you've been.

There’s no hard and fast rule, @Dingle Lad, but we tend to keep discussion of the recordings to the results thread.

Hey, do I need to revote or can I just vote for TTR?

People ask us to do these polls. They jump up and down in excitement when they’re announced; lots of thanks on the announcement. And then barely no-one can be bothered to vote in something they’ve been asking for. 4 sodding votes in over two weeks, with just 4 days to go. 4 sodding votes. And then those who can’t be arsed to vote wonder why those who organise these polls wonder what the point is and lose drive to do it!!!!!
What’s the point in part 3 if part 2 only gets 4 measly votes?

C’mon guys. This is totally ridiculous.
It’s good fun, you re-discover some back-catalogue stuff, and you get to find out if your fellow BBers like the same stuff as you!
If you start on day 1, you only had to score something like 5 or 6 songs a day in order to get your votes in on time. That’s not very hard (especially in quarantine) – and it’s not even a chore. It’s fun! (have I said that already?)

I just voted. Went by a little quicker than I expected mostly because I’d already gone back to a lot of that live material during the first round of voting. I found my ratings were a little bit harsh on that round, but I guess we will start seeing some of my personal favorite demos on part 3

For some reason I have some kind of serious block preventing me from making a playlist. I guess it’s because we’re nearing the end of part 2 and I haven’t done part 1 yet so I’m like, what’s the point? As I said I’m having serious motivation issues. The weeks are running together because I’m not going anywhere.
