These songs (and selection of songs) are so popular I’m not surprised that they’ve ended up in the top 5. I will, however, say that I was the only person not to give any of the top 5 songs a 10. 81 tens were given, and the mediocre While My Guitar Gently Weeps received most – 18. This makes WMGGW the song with the most 10s, too.

Offline I am really happy to see Abbey Road Medley in the top 5 as well! It’s endlessly listenable. “A Day In The Life ” definitely deserves to be near the top too. The 3 others, although I love them all, would not have sniffed my top 5. By no stretch of the imagination is “I Am The Walrus ” the best Beatles song, nor is “While My Guitar Gently Weeps ” a top 5 Beatles song. I’m sure I gave them all 10s though! Maybe eightysomething 10s was a few too many to give on my part?!? Will have to rethink my strategy for next time if I want to see “Hold Me Tight ” in the top 5.
