Most of those songs deserve to be this high and could arguably be higher. I must admit that I am a little surprised to see Dear Prudence this high though.

A real shocker. I guess I shouldn’t be surpised since I rated it so highly, but I’m still impressed to see it up so high.

Now we are into the top 15, here come three posts of 5 songs each
=13 (214*, 8.56) In My Life
=13 (214*, 8.56) Twist And Shout
=13 (214*, 8.56) Helter Skelter
12 (215*, 8.6) Revolution
11 (217*, 8.68) Here Comes The Sun
Bit surprised to see a cover in the top 15, but not surprised it’s Twist And Shout . Not much I can add to that, except to say ‘well look out – cause here (the top 10) comes!’ 44 tens were given to these songs, with Here Comes The Sun getting the most – 11.

Wow. When the flaccid “Nowhere Man ” showed up at number 25, I thought that would be the most overrated Beatles song, but here at no. 13 is the tiresome and hackneyed cover “Twist And Shout ” to blow that up.

Helter Skelter , although a great song, is too high.

I’m surprised that Helter Skelter is as high as it is to be honest. I don’t have anything against it but I thought it would be a little bit higher.
Out of all the covers in the Beatles canon I am not surprised to see Twist And Shout this high but I would have expected to see all of the covers placed higher.
Happy to see Here Comes The Sun and In My Life this high. Not really surprised about Revolution .

If you haven’t listened to the strings and synth only version of HCtS then you’re in for a real treat. It’s so gorgeous and you can barely hear them in the final mix.

Saddened to see Here Comes The Sun and In My Life (especially IML) drop down the list compared to the 2015 poll, where they were 3rd and 4th respectively.

Into the top 10 now…
10 (218*, 8.72) Hey Bulldog
=7 (223*, 8.92) Tomorrow Never Knows
=7 (223*, 8.92) Ticket To Ride
=7 (223*, 8.92) Rain
6 (232, 8.923) Norwegian Wood
Some seriously good songs here. I’m a fraction surprised that Ticket To Ride made it into the top 10, if I’m honest. 47 tens were given, and Tomorrow Never Knows received most – 12.
